Mavs with Dirk back are looking good so far...
I guess at the least, Dirk provides a good boost to the team morale.
Unless Dirk is 90-100% I can't imagine why Dallas is gunning for the 8th seed.
Personally, I would have tanked the final games, and tried my luck in the lottery.
Dirk, like Tim, is a real drama queen.
From their writhing and head holding, body destroyed, death is imminent, then the get up and take their FTs.
What better way to right your wrongs than to go into this year as an 8th seat and knock out the 1st seat. It's the only way!
Have Dirk flop during a "big" game allowing his teammates to step up in his absence. Then, let Dirk come in at the end of the reg season to save the day and charge into the playoffs.
