    D. Murray could average 30 against that backcourt. If they get Kyrie, they'd have to give up Thomas. But I don't see them trading w/ Celtics.
Lol, D. Murray couldn't average 10 points against Summer league compe ion. He's ing trash and the sooner Spurs fans realize that, they'll be much happier when he's gone.

Those D Leaguers are better defenders than Thomas/Kyrie. Can't see those two ever sharing the court.

The thing is that moving just Green and Murray doesn't work, salary wise, to make the trade work. If you get Irving, you have no choice but to move LA.
It would be great to move TP's contract through all of this. That's 16 Million going to waste on Spurs roster.

Who becomes our starting 2 in that scenario?
    Does it really matter?

Concerned with TPs contract while the FO signs Pau to an absolutely atrocious contract.

If I'm Cleveland I just tell Irving we're not trading you and that's that. He still has two more years on his contract and none of the offers I'm seeing look good for them.
It's going to be difficult bc if the relationship is broken, I don't see a way Lebron wants to play with him now. It's been rumored it was Lebron who leaked out Kyries' request and it wouldn't surprise the reason was to push pressure to move that along and get offers from other teams not in the know.

Bledsoe, Green, Murray, a 2018 1st would be better for them in a three team deal with the Suns and much cheaper. Significantly improve on their defense and add trade Murray and a 1st which could be used as trade assets to try and go for it at the deadline.
Thats true, but does Phoenix do it?

I know. TP's contract doesn't mean anything at this point. Expiring deals after FA have no impact other than in hard capping you.

Cavs are looking for a kings ransom. Only problem is their rival is the only team with those assets.

They picked the wrong summer to upset their franchise player. The market is so dry right now. All the signed players can't be traded to boot. It'll be interesting to see who gets called on their bluff first.

GSW isn't the only team that can make a phenomenal offer for a single player.

Kyrie probably won't be traded in the east. Would you trade Klay for Kyrie straight up?

If I was the Warriors, no. Klay is more useful than Kyrie for that team.
But that's not sayin that Klay is a better player, just more useful for his team than Kyrie would be.

Aldridge by himself isn't that appealing not only due to his play BUT contract situation..

Let's use PHX for example... they won't just get involved in 3 way trade just to help out Spurs or Cavs..especially if they gotta take on LMA or give up Bledsoe straight up..you can maybe be entice them more by giving them a pick..but IMO you get PHX realllllly interested if you can take on the Chandler contract...
Now that the Spurs PAID Pau, I doubt the look at Chandler.

What trades are you thinking of regarding Brooklyn or Atlanta?
Actually I wasn't thinking of players, just management. After looking at their rosters, I couldn't see anything promising at first glance. I don't think either team has much of anything to facilitate a deal between the Spurs and Cavs.

CLEVELAND -- Derrick Rose and the Cavaliers agreed to a one-year deal for $2.1 million contract Monday after spending the day together, discussing how the team will return to the Finals without Kyrie Irving.

Rose, 28, the 2011 NBA MVP whose career has been hampered by knee injuries, is on his way to the Cavs looking for the first trip to the Finals after eight pro seasons. He's also looking at a potential starting spot in the same lineup with LeBron James, now that Irving has asked for a trade and James is eager to see him off.

1yr deals for George Hill and Derrick Rose. Thankfully PATFO handed out $50M to Pity Mills at 12:01am before teams started calling him at 12:02am

Even if LMA is traded? I think they'll have to get someone if LMA is gone. If Murray is included with Green and/or Aldridge then there will an open spot on the roster and it's doubtful it won't be a big...imo.
