I didn't know Chumpettes were taught the narrative that The Industrial Revolution somehow canceled out Adam Smith's wise words.
But at learning this from you and Will.
They just led to our current depression.

Empirical evidence definitely cancels out words.
You still haven't provided any empirical evidence.
"dogma"
No, shutting down economies because healthy people might catch a cold is pure dogma.

You're really quite put out when others are more knowledgeable than you.
BlakeBlaker
Let's be honest, we may call them Chumpettes after you. But you're just not top of the heap.
Let's be honest. No one gives a about the hierarchy of your enemies list.
And none of that has anything to do with your insecurity.
TGY - halp me, halp me!!!
Preach plandemic, preach, halp me, halp me!
Am drowning here without you or facts, halp me, halp me!
Lord Trump, I promise to not wear masks, I promise to watch OAN religiously, and I promise to drink clorox bleach if you halp me!
Oh woe is me.

KarrinS: Pick me, pick me!
It's insane how much Blake damaged this dude.
What is it that Blake did to him to make him think everyone he argues with is Blake?
Not all of it, but a solid part of it.
The part that concerns how the middle class/poor benefit from conservative economic policy is definitely all dogma.
I really don't know. All I know is if you clown derp once, you're on his enemies list for life and he'll cry out for you in the night.
It's so weird.
Isn't that JFK?
I didn't say it canceled it, I actually said it's still a decent read for the basics in capitalism.
What I said is that concept of an economy changed drastically from the industrial revolution to here, and thus books from the late 1700 clearly fail to reflect modern economic constructs.
It wasn't just the industrial revolution, but also globalization, the move to a fiat economy, the heavy commercialization of non-tangible property, the radical improvements in transport and technology, etc.
Maybe because Blake told him, “derp, I am your father. I forgot to go to the pharmacy and 9 months later, boom, there you are.”
The Great Depression started under Hoover (conservative) and ended under FDR (liberal). Get educated.
derp does seem to have daddy issues....
And on cue...
KarrinS: Derp, pick me, pick me!
No, actually, that's science, which is what you're laughing at.
This isn't the first pandemic we face either, even if you were not born for the last big one.
Also not the first time the economy ends up shambles during a pandemic, shut down economy or not.
Not sure what caused it, but Blake is so far up his ass is ridiculous. He's even dedicated multiple threads to him...
Think his mama beat him up for using wire coat hangers too ?
He used it in the context of a public works project, so no, definitely not how he used it.
Trickle down, especially in modern times, definitely is.
Now, the business cycle, money supply, deficits and inflation, etc... that's much more debatable...
