I don't understand why its such a horriblething Parker gets a chance at it.

You guys are acting like they inbounded the ball to Bruce Bowen.

It's not the most horrible thing in the world. I would just prefer player X who typically shoots 85% at the free throw line to shoot vs. player Y who's shooting only 63% (5 of 8) so far that night. Especially if there's even a slight chance it will affect who wins the game. That's all.

I still don't understand the crawfish remark, but whatever.

I still love player Y. I'm just playing the percentages. Glad we won. GSG, etc.

I haven't been to a Spurs game in a long while, it was a great game to go to. In my opinion, we got lucky on a lot of calls near the end, but they went both ways really. I was one of the few Spurs fans brave enough to stand in overtime in my area. But seeing all these Warriors fans whine and complain made it feel great.
I'm just really glad Manu is picking up where he left off last season and becoming the Manu we know and love once again, at the perfect time.

I admit Tony might not be that perfect at Clutch free throws. I still want him to take it more now before the playoff comes. Hopefully, he will get used to it fast and become another (as good as Manu) clutch free throw shooter in the playoff. It will help a lot because both Tony and Manu (other than Tim) are our best players at getting to the rim. Just a thought!

I'm at a loss here. I'm not saying Parker isn't great (he is). I'm not saying he isn't clutch (as he proved in this game alone scoring that acrobatic shot among others), he is. Free throw shooting is not his forte, however. I don't care if he's 300 times better than Michael Jordan. If he's not shooting well from the line, and you have 3 guys on the floor who shoot in the upper 80's on free throws, give it to the other guys. It's not an insult to Parker. I love Parker, he's awesome. It's very simple, basic statistical strategy.

You know how it is around here. We got our Manu haters, our Tony haters, gotta be careful not to say too much specially after a game when one plays a bit better then the other. Usually thats when the haters come outta hiding and start with their dissing. This is just the usual knee-jerk reaction from the ppl tired of hearing this ( or the people for whom one or the other can do no wrong).

Its really silly that any negative comment about Tony has to start with:" i love the guy, but..." for it to be something else then blind hate, but it is how it is. Its a price to pay for all the dumb hate. I agree with you, i didnt understand the inbound pass to Tony as well, we are on back to backs, and were trying to put the game away as fast as possible. Whether he made both FT's or not doesnt really make the situation any more/less logical (but i love the guy ).

Like some other people here i do have a feeling that Tony's missed free throws come badly timed ( not that yesterday's game was an example of that; was more of an inconvinience then anything else). Someone said he made 0.750 in clutch situations this season, does anyone know what are his percentages in 3rd and 4th quarter for this season, and his entire career?

Not to rain on the parade but Parker was 75% (15-for-20) at the line in clutch situations before this game. I'll take that every year from Parker.
