One of the problems with kawhi never ing talking is we don’t know where he stands. Is La the only place he’ll resign or if we trade him to a big market like New York or Boston will he be more than a rental. It kinda matters in negotiations

We live in a "what have you done for me lately society" In general when it comes to sports,movies, music, people tend not to care about the past. It's all about the present. I can apply this rationale to the Spurs. If the Spurs suck for 10-12 years and are lottery team I expect people to laugh at them and not take them seriously but it won't bother me. I won't be bringing up arguments with other fan bases of how the Spurs were once a great organization. It's more about where KL ends up than about who we get, because there are no game changers coming to SA. At least CJ puts KL in Portland and we know he'll be in the DNP list all year there.

Agreed if you trade Kawhi to LA your going to enable them to create a super team. I rather trade Kawhi for Kemba straight up then trade him to the Lakers for half of their team.

Let's be real outside of LMA, SA has never been a hot destination for top FA's. When the Spurs have to rebuild they will do it through the draft.
