    Trump just made some very strange comments about Bannon

    In a brief exchange with the New York Post's Michael Goodwin on Tuesday, Trump seemed to deliberately place Bannon at arm's length, suggesting his role as an adviser has been oversold and even appearing to threaten Bannon's job.

    "I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late," Trump said.

    "I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn't know Steve. I'm my own strategist, and it wasn't like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary."

    Ouch.

    Bannon joined the campaign in August for the lion's share of the general election, taking on the role of campaign CEO. He and Kellyanne Conway, the campaign manager, were the ular heads of the campaign.

    Trump then kept Bannon on as his chief political adviser in the White House, serving alongside chief of staff Reince Priebus.

    "Steve is a good guy, but I told them to straighten it out or I will," Trump said.

    Trump Floats Nonsense Idea of Privatizing Airports and Dams

    Donald Trump is considering privatising America’s airports and dams as part of an infrastructure building programme that could exceed past estimates of a trillion dollars....

    “America can do much more than it has, and can do what other countries in Europe and Australia have done, by harnessing private capital,” Howard said.

    So it could privatise a number of assets such as airports and dams, and get a lot of capital from that, as well as increase the tax base.”

    .Last year the Cato Ins ute, a conservative thinktank, published a paper that endorsed

    privatising the nation’s more than 500 commercial airports,
    which are currently owned by state and local governments and

    rely on the federal government for capital improvements.

    The federal government can't privatize airports that are owned by states and cities.

    And even if it could, states and cities would get the money. So what's the point?

    I'd say Trump had four big domestic priorities when he took office:

    • Repeal Obamacare.
    • Cut taxes for the rich.
    • Spend $1 trillion fixing roads and bridges.
    • Build a wall.

    The Obamacare effort has already crashed and burned.

    His tax plan apparently won't work with Obamacare in place, so now he's delaying that to take another run at health care.

    He doesn't have anywhere near enough support for his infrastructure plan, which is why he's desperately scanning the horizon for weird ideas to fund it.

    And the wall hasn't gone anywhere yet. It may yet make progress, but even

    Trump admits it won't cover anything close to the whole border.

    On foreign policy,

    he's crashed and burned on his immigration plan;

    reversed himself on Russia;

    launched a strike on Syria with no apparent follow-up plan;

    still has no proposal for defeating ISIS;

    caved in to China on Taiwan; and

    has gone soft on trade.

    Trump Reverses Himself On 6 Major Issues In 2 Days

    President Donald Trump has reversed himself on at least six major issues this week, pulling back on long-held promises supported by his base.

    Four of these reversals alone came in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published Wednesday:

    • Trump said the Chinese are “not currency manipulators.”? Just last week, he said they were “world champions” of currency manipulation, and he pledged throughout his campaign to label China a currency manipulator on his first day in office. He tweeted in 2012 that President Barack Obama’s failure to call China a currency manipulator “helped China steal even more jobs and money from us.”
    • Trump said, “I do like a low interest-rate policy.” During his campaign, he excoriated the Federal Reserve for keeping rates low, and said in 2011 that the policy would lead to hyperinflation.
    • Trump said he was open to the idea of reappointing Janet Yellen to head the Federal Reserve. On the campaign trail, he said he would “most likely” replace her. “I like her, I respect her,” Trump told the Journal at the time.
    • Trump said he supported the Export-Import Bank, noting that small companies are “really helped” by the ins ution. During the campaign, he said the bank was unnecessary.

    On each of these issues, Trump’s turnabout puts him in lockstep with the Washington economic policy consensus. And in each case, Trump is walking away ― at least for now ― from the heterodox views he expressed during the campaign.

    This week’s reversals follow his shift on Syria last week, when Trump fired cruise missiles at an airbase after repeatedly saying he opposed U.S. involvement in the country’s civil war.

    Also on Wednesday, Trump reversed his position on NATO, telling reporters, “They made a change and now they do fight terrorism. I said it was obsolete. It’s no longer obsolete.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/...Email%20041317

    what a total clown.

    Just like his ignorant, stupid, conned supporters, he knows nothing, position depends on whom he talked to last, and/or learning a little fact.

    China told him that NK problem is complicated!

    Trump is even making Mar-A-Lago unpopular.

    It is estimated that it costs the city $60,000 in police and support overtime per day for a Trump visit.

    The police chief estimated that Trump’s summit with the Chinese President last weekend cost the city $250,000 all by itself.

    The city is hopeful that the government will reimburse them for the expenses, but at least one of the officials is not taking chances. According to the report;

    However, the high cost of Trump's visits has led County Commissioner Dave Kerner to propose a tax on the resort to cover the costs.

    "We're very honored to have the president here, but at the same time, his travel here is such high frequency he's not visiting Palm Beach County — he's governing from it," Kerner told Money magazine.

    "Whatever our priorities are, the taxpayers didn't pay this money to us to protect the president."

    Liberals love to play the race card. Usually done when losing the argument.
    Fear of alienating the alt-right is not a fear anybody in the government should have.

    Who said anything about the far left? Why do you insist on changing the subject? Nobody in government should give a about the alt-right, period.

    Just saying both sides have their issues. I find the far left worse than the alt-right. But just like temperature, the most comfortable is in the middle. I'm enjoying the nice big tax return thanks to Trump. Good times.

    It's politics. Plus plenty of racism on the left as well. But I guess it is ok to hate on white men and cops according to the left.

    I can't believe I'm saying this but Mr. Trump is doing a good job with Syria, Russia, China and North Korea. He has them all completely off balance and his strike against Syria makes him look serious. He has the upper hand. For the first time, China is now putting pressure on North Korea. Russia's diplomats are screaming confusion and Syria hasn't dared use chemical weapons again. It's amazing. He's winning right now.
    Id say I agree with North Korea but definitely not when it comes to Syria and Russia.

    He still wont say ANYTHING bad about Russia (only Assad). He's now involved with Syria and is basically in hiding. His base is pissed, he doesnt want to answer questions about Syrian refugees which he now appears to actually care about (or is pretending to for Ivanka's sake).

    As usual, he's just winging it. He said he learned after listening to the Chinese president for ten minutes that North Korean problem was more complicated than he realized (which is what he said about health care).

    This would be a good strategy for dealing with Trump. Just bore him with details for ten minutes on any issue and he'll give you whatever you want. He has a ridiculously short attention span and he's lazy.

    Trump said China was currency manipulator and was raping our country on trade. Now theyre our best buddy.

    He'd rather just be playing golf.

    The last thing I'd say about Trump is that he's lazy. You may criticize the actual results, but it was not for lack of trying.

    I have no idea how you could come to the conclusion that this president is anything but lazy.

    He has no understanding of policy. This is because he's too lazy to actually learn about this stuff and would rather just repeat what he watches on cable news. When pressed (by a fox news host) about his health care plan screwing over the people who voted for him, he didnt appear to know what was actually in his health care plan. Same with his "budget" that cuts meals on wheels etc. He hasnt taken the time to look at what the OMB proposed, thats too much work. On these executive orders, he just signs the they put in front of him and says that Obama was bad.

    We saw this in the campaign. He was too lazy to prepare for debates against Clinton. He was too lazy to vet the people joining the campaign and thus hired a lot of people with bad Russian connections.

    If you need further proof, he ended the push to repeal Obamacare because it was taking too much work. He spent 17 days. To put that in perspective, Obamacare took over a year to pass and he has thus far gone golfing 17 times.

    Dude is lazy.

    skips intelligence briefings, spends all his time golfing when he promised he wouldn't, more vacations than any other President, can't convince his trophy wife to move into the White House, never even read Ryan's healthcare bill, needs his daughter to convince him that gassing little kids is bad...... yeah he's really working hard and closing deals.

    Trump just crossed a line: "what I do is I authorize my military"

    Mikel Jollett
    @Mikel_Jollett

    Trump seriously just called it "MY" military as if he was a dictator or a boy king.
    2:13 PM - 13 Apr 2017

    "Everybody knows exactly what happened and what I do is I authorize my military. We have the greatest military in the world and they've done their job as usual. So, we have given them total authorization," Trump said after meeting with first responders at the White House on Thursday.
