Unlike the Hornets, the Lakers will put the pressure on SAS to score all game long. The Lakers don't have droughts for very long offensively.

droughts yeah, because they looked like they just ran out of gas. hrs prior they were considering hitching a ride to LA, arrived 9 hrs before the game. I don't think Pop even had the opportunity to lay out his game plan.

but you know how good the Spurs were in the 1st half.
And you have NOBODY WHO CAN STOP TIM DUNCAN.
and Duncan can stop anybody on your team.


Believe me the Spurs will beat your LA Lakers, the big 3- Duncan, Manu, & TP will beat you so bad you will curse them after this series is over

ty loss but I thought it would be worse. The fact that we got up 20 before exhaustion set in makes me feel way better about our chances. I thought it was going to be tight until the 3rd and then they'd blow us away. This isn't going to change anything... Timmy is back and once Manu adjusts we'll be fine. And yes, Pop is an idiot for taking Bruce off Kobe.

Damn, the spurs sucked the last 17 minutes of the game or so....

Sucked about as much as the Lakers did the first 30 miutes.

Look at the bright side, Spur fans.... at least we know there won't be 6 blowouts in this series as there was in your last series.

Matt Bonner contributed more to the game than Manu. Ginobili was giving Brynat magnets. I guess he has overtaken Beno's previous job.

I've yet to see Manu play a great game since the NOH series. He's shot from 3pt land well a few times, but THAT'S IT. His ankle injury is clearly limiting his ability to drive to the hoop and finish. We aren't seeing the typical body contorting moves that Ginobli is famous for because he doesn't want to re-injure himself.

Sasha is playing Ginobli the right way. Hounding him on every play, forcing him to go right every time, and getting in his grill when he shoots. If he can keep this up we may not even need Ariza's D in this series.

It's a guarantee that the Spurs aren't shaken by this loss....one of those BS losses that happens...no big deal.

Manu will not have a great game all series if Sasha is guarding him. He is forcing Ginobli to go RIGHT on every play and it is clearly screwing with his game. I said before this series all Ginobli was doing was hitting 3's, his drives were all useless. I was 100% correct. Ginobli is hurt and it is affecting his ability to get to the rim and score.

If fatigue was a problem in Game 1 it will continue to be a problem all series long. The Spurs will get the exact same amount of rest between games that they got before the start of this series.

So keep blaming fatigue if you want, but it's not something that's going to go away as this series progresses.
