It's usually a Black coach replacing a previous coach once the fired coach's players tuned him out and quit on him..the new, Black coach utilizes his preaching and motivation to get his players to play harder and use their talent, turning around their season, possibly making a run to the playoffs..

Once they fail, which is inevitable, that coach's lack of schemes and system is exposed in the next few seasons, and the fans begin to notice that his only coaching strength is his preaching and knowledge of African philosophy, tbh, which can only take you so far..

Mike Woodson is the best example of this..sadly, Woodson will continue to get NBA jobs, because his perpetual look of anger exudes the appearance of a hard-ass that players will want to play hard for..
