Remember this bastid? He lasted like one month and that was after the Spurs picked him up to be their defensive minded backup point. IIRC he and/or his agent covered up some injury. He created the opportunity for Charlie Heisman to steal some of Holt CAT's $.

Wow, he only played 5 games for the Spurs. I remember his stint being worthless, but not worthless and short.

    Oh, yes.

Radoslav recoils in horror at the sight of a loose ball while future Spur Drew Gooden pursues.

Nah, at least Vaughn is a halfway good defender and is not afraid to hustle down a loose ball. He does contribute.

I don't know if you guys remember but George Karl was a Spurs during the ABA days and he totally sucked. The only thing he had going for himself is that he was known as a ladies man here in San Antonio.

    The great white victory cigar.
Except that he was black on the EA games like Bulls vs Blazers.

Yes, he put up #s in SA, but he was one of the worst thanks to the friggin' sideshow. Not to mention not rotating out on Horry in Game 1 of the '95 WCF.
Or picking him up in transition in game 2.

Vaughn did hit a couple of really big shots in game 6 vs Phoenix in '07. No way he belongs. As for Schintzius, everyone knew the Spurs were really rolling the dice in an AWFUL draft when they picked him.

I voted Sid Green, and I'm sticking with it, but gotta give props to all who called out Charles Smith and Felton Spencer. Hard to argue against those.

Had to go with Green because he was the player my dad would use as an example of how NOT to play basketball.

But Bateer...I will argue this till the cows come home..Mengke Bateer... Averaged .8 points and .8 rebounds a game. A 6'11" monster that averaged less than a point and even worse, less than a rebound per game?

    S.Smith in 03

Remember that game 5 against the Suns, we had a huge lead and Jax didn't play the 2nd half. Smith started and almost ed everything
