Help! Weird growth on my face.

I was hoping we had a ST member that was a doctor. Free medical advice is okay in my book. Plus, it was a bump on my face. If I was bleeding out my ass, I doubt I'd seek medical advice here.

Actually your a very brave woman. And you did a service for others reading who may have the same condition. You would be surprised how ST topics show up on Google and Yahoo I think your above the spineless wannabe's that can never say what is really going on in their lives you should get some sort of Spur under your avatar!

Ain't that the truth. I have precancerous lesions burned off ever 8-12 months. I just had two of them, on my forehead, frozen off on Monday. I stay out of the sun and wear sunblock every day but my meds & my disease make me prone to them.

Anytime something just "pops up" on your skin it should be cause for concern. These things can become very dangerous. Most people don't know that these can become a dangerous cancer.

I have had 3 removed through surgery and numerous others burnt off with that liquid nitrogen they use. Of course I have spent many years out in the hot sun with no protection, and now it's catching up with me. I have to see my dermatologist every 6 months. Right now they are having me "chemical peel" my arms, to get rid of some of the stuff.

Go to a doctor and he/she will let you know really quickly. When in doubt that's the best bet.

I have had several pre-cancerous moles removed. I'm prone to getting them.
