When most people argue they at least try to get the positions right.

When most people argue they actually stay on point and don't focus on typos when they knew what the other person meant.

It's also funny because it's not like I think Gronk is a future HoFer. I think he'll be better than a guy like Health Miller but not as good as a guy like Jason Witten. I'm not expecting future 1000 yard 10 touchdown seasons.
lol so you dont think he will be as good as arguably the best TE in the league for the last few years.

ok you obviously dont overrate him

  7. #107
I'm saying at his peak I don't expect him to ever be as good as Witten. It's not overrating someone with his physical skills, college career, and early 2nd round draft spot to think he'll be a better version of heath miller.

  8. #108
And it is funny DezBryantfan is talking to someone about overrating rookies. At least Coltfan is talking about someone who has actually proven his ability in the NFL.

    He might be #2.

    1. Andre Johnson
    2. Brandon Marshall
    3. Larry Fitzgerald
    4. Reggie Wayne
    5. Miles Austin

    top 5 tbqh
No way is Marshall better than Andre, Fitz, R Moss or Wayne.

  12. #112
It goes either way with Marshall and Fitz (a lot of it will depend on how productive Fitz is with a QB this year), but after the season Marshall had with Kyle Orton he can easily be considered a top 3 receiver.

lol do you even watch football?
    lol apparently more than you

Marshall is better than Wayne and Fitz.
If we are going on sheer talent, from watching football, I'd tell you Calvin Johnson is even better than Marshall.

The stats don't show Marshall being a top 3 either over Fitz or Wayne.

Feel free to post your proof of such though.

I don't like this move at all, too early to give him this long term contract. I was hoping if he improved at the end of the season or even midway, he would getting this type of deal.

IMO people really underrate Kyle Orton. Sure he's not Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or Drew Brees but he's very serviceable. I watched the Broncos a couple times last year and he looked very accurate and minimizes mistakes.

Like I said, by no means is he an elite quarterback but he's not a huge liability either.

Agreed, Kyle Orton is probably not going to be a pro-bowler in his career, but he's pretty good at managing the game. Reminds me of Brad Johnson in terms of not creating mistakes but knows his limits.

tbh, if I had to take 1 receiver right now knowing that he wouldn't be slipping on any mcdonald's bags, I would probably take Marshall slightly over Andre Johnson. Not saying he's better.

Over the last 2 years, Roddy White has 2535 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns on a run first team. Reggie Wayne has 2409 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns on a pass first team with maybe the best QB of all time. You're re ed if you thinking saying White > Wayne is scoffing the Colts.
You're failing to mention that Wayne has to compete for catches with the best catching tight end in the NFL and last year had to compete with him and two other legit receiving threats which negates your run first argument. Roddy was really Atlanta's only receiving threat and you really cant count an over the hill Gonzalez.

Lol at the Boys fans that think Miles is a top 5 receiver. Just as previously mentioned, he won't be as effective because teams will plan for him. Minny planned for him in the PO's last season and who remembers all 34 yards he scorched them for? Top 5, even in opinion, is completely unfounded fanboyism.

Did Newman also let Marshall all over his face too on what should've been an easy INT?

I know it probably hurts Texans fans for someone to take a player over their 1 standout player.

Marshall is better than every WR and TE on the Broncos put together.
