It's some sort of test some people take in high school so colleges can see how smart they are. Unfortunately, for me, I never took it.
Why? Can you not work in Austin? Can you not live in SA, work in SA and commute for classed to Austin (I know people that did that)?
What family would ask their kid to go to one of the last ranked schools vs one of the best?
Even if someone was terminal, you could still see them every day with the exception of 2 less hours due to commute time. We also know he didnt work - he said he could not afford to pay a 25 bet and said he's a broke college guy (which might continue if others see his work ethic and are big on school ranking).

Are you not american or just really young?
It's a standarized test taken for students who want to enter american colleges, the better the score, the better universities you can get into. It has 3 components, math, writing, and critical reading.
There are also SAT subject tests like Math, History, Phyiscs, etc to boost your application for college, or some schools actually require you to have taken subject tests ( a while back, the University of California schools required you to take at least 2 subject tests)

You didn't have to stay in town; you choose to. Maybe because it was a lot easier due to your cir stances, but with the proximity, there is absolutely 0 reason to have to go to UTSA if you had a chance to go to UTA.

I don't think they can be sued since parents signed the consent forms. Maybe sue the parents?
But no the field has not changed. Parents are still requesting them I'm sure. I'm not sure what the percentage is since I don't perform them. I know insurances don't pay for it in the hospital. Only in an outpatient sitting, but a lot of it is cash pay.
A 180 mile back and forth commute, 3-4 times a week added to everything I had going on at the time wasnt something I felt I could pull off at the time. A good human being would be more understanding to that, imo.

Ya, you choose the easy way out. While it would have been difficult, it was certainly doable (considering 180 round trip isn't that bad at all) and a driven person who wanted to reach their peak vs getting into the easiest program he could would have made the clear and easy decision to take control of his life vs making excuses.
They only legit excuse would be if there were legal reasons where you could not do it (under house arrest, DWI's with no license and they wouldn't let you drive...). Other than that, it's literally all excuses which is not at all surprising coming from someone who thinks it is acceptable to post Shemale porn on someone eles's site since they have 0 control of their life or emotions.
EE was never my thing, took a circuits class a couple of years ago...didnt like tbh.
