I guess if you haven't heard preachers, you don't understand what they are saying; can't read between the lines. Huckabee never said this was God's wrath, or he didn't protect the school because there wasn't prayer. What he DID say is that we no longer teach moral absolutism; right and wrong, black and white - and that if you end up on the wrong side of that equation, you have God, ultimately, to answer to. Therefore, more and more people (Adam Lanza in this case), don't fear judgement day - has, as many on the board apparently have not, heard it described to them every day of their lives; be good or else.

He might not be right in his estimation, but THAT is the crux of his argument.

Since you're speaking on behalf of Huckabee, can you answer why anyone should fear judgment day and/or worry about right and wrong if belief in jesus is enough to get you into heaven?
