And Danny Green can't hit threes in the post-season...
Better. Much better.
Way too much doom and gloom here.
That's better, 4/$36
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 1min There won't be a fifth year on the Splitter deal. The terms will be four years, $36 million-plus, sources tell Y! Sports.
OK THEN!! Sound a LOT better!!
That is much more acceptable.
That lack of a fifth year makes this more interesting. Hopefully, his last year is still partially guaranteed.
Woj just tweeted 4yrs/36.
He better grow a pair of balls during the summer/
MUCH better
Betting it's a partially guaranteed final year too. Market value deal tbh.
BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's a liability if he doesn't play next to Tim Duncan who was having an amazing season. Alone in the paint he's crap more often than not offensively.
4yr/36 million is fair market value for Splitter.
I really, really hope that a) the Spurs can re-sign Manu with enough money for an impact player like AK and b) Splitter nuts up in the next postseason run.
4 years - $36 million is so much better.
Now let's move on.
If it's a flat contract, obviously Splitter's cap figure for next year is $9 mil. If it escalates, he'd be just over $8.
Im not an armchair gm like you s but i'd say this is a good deal, his post defense and pick n roll D earned this. Lets hope he can sack up n grab some rebounds and learn better post moves.
in b4 "RC was reading this thread and he cut that last year after the meltdown" goods...
