I was just pointed out how ridiculous the whole WWJD arguement is.

How so? I was pointing out the FACT that people were drawn to this IDEA that someone came up with. It proves a lot. The name Jesus carries a lot of power. It is power. Not just here in the US. Everywhere. So powerful that an idea (WWJD) spread like wild fire. Some of those who bought the bracelets and etc. did it to be popular, but some of those who bought the items with WWJD on it were actually influenced.

Man invented religion to help him deal with things that he otherwise wasn't able to. Simple as that. It's actually a pretty nice and effective tool.

everything is caused by man,even cancer and kidney disease.

eventually all of us will be 6 feet under or in my case cremated.

Faith - Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence

Pretty close to me.

To me, faith means that sometimes I have to give God the benefit of the doubt.

If you believe in Christ and have your sins forgiven you will go to heaven. Heaven is the best most wonderful place in the world....however if you want to expedite your heavinly pursuits by killing yourself you go to ....interesting conundrum of a theory. Heaven is great, so dieing is great right.....
Committing suicide is a sin. I was raised Roman Catholic and whole idea of sin was thrust upon me at a early age. I always wonder...they always talk about the original sin, but what about the original innocence. Was there a time before sin....

christianity is a pretty wide description. it's basicly everyone who believes in christ.
not every christian is feeling that sin/guilt trip/heaven/ thing.
ex: I'm christian but i don;t believe in humans going to heaven and I don;t belive in (i'm in the earth has an actual purpose group)
