So by that logic, Robert Horry is better than Duncan.
We are talking about stars, Eichman did nothing during the playoffs, he is the first Spur patriot ever but thats it, if you say he was better than prime Manu winning everywhere or even playing at high level at almost 40 years you mean 2 things a) Gervin is with Wilt-Jordan and b) you need to see a doctor.

Not really. And it doesn't even matter if we're talking about the ing regular season.
Yes, really and it does matter, because it illustrates that, no matter how bad they looked at the end, Leonard wasn't some one man band carrying an otherwise awful team.

Uh yeah. We sucked ass vs all the good teams. It said we beat all the bad teams and couldn't beat the good teams well enough. Context here.

I'm tired of educating you here.

It said, overall, "we" were a historically great regular season team.

I realize this is part spin, but you're not seeing the forest from the trees here. This wasn't the early aughts 76ers, Magic, Timberwolves or even Spurs.

If Durant, Westbrook, Paul, Griffin, etc., do what the Spurs did the past two post seasons, even if they raised their game, as the clear lead player on the roster, they'd have received a lot more criticism.

So did Aldridge, yet he receives constant criticism.
    I don't think so.

I understand some criticism since most fans thought LMA would be the guy who keeps scoring when Kawhi has a bad night, and the offensive player who would solve Spurs issues on offense in playoffs replacing Tim/Parker/Manu scoring.

We know that PER stats favor offense-oriented players over two-way players like Kawhi, that's why I think people felt a bit disappointed because they expected LMA as #2 on PER, being one of the greatest scorers in playoffs

But "constant" criticism? No. In fact, most fans, me included, think he will look great in 2016/17, the adaption proccess has finished and he will get a lot more comfortable on the team this next season.

Doesn't matter what those numbers say, last two season he was bigtime dissepointment that was falling under the pressure come playoff time...
True, but people have to realize and/or accept, that Leonard isn't the typical elite player. He's never going to be a great breakdown or creator type.

The reality is, they're going to have to find a dynamic guard, who excels at these things, in order to have a legitimate chance to win a championship during this era
Not sure. He didn't "fail". Either LMA. Both matched Durant/Westbrook production (Kawhi/LMA combined=25 ppg .502 FG% Durant-Westbrook=26.7 ppg .438 FG%) but our bigs and the rest of role players couldn't match OKC's. That was the real issue.

But agree with you that the Spurs need a true playmaker in the SL, even when Kawhi has improved a lot, he's more a scorer than a playmaker, and Parker never was one, he never had Manu's elite court vision or his passing-talent.

That probably barely covers renting the place, tbh... and he's putting his time in it while he could be texting LMA's wife or sunbathing in the Bahamas...

You gotta give him some credit.

    At least he's not eating.
Lol. I'd rather he be working his Dunk game than his Curry impressions...
