Wembust: 12 points, 4-15 shooting, 5 rebounds, a block, 2 assists, 6 fouls, multiple "overrated" chants. Not even lefty can reverse jinx this.
We all remember how Greg Ostertag dominated Tim Duncan that very first Summer League game and his career never recovered.

    Tim who?

I can see it now....Wemby does the jump ball. Spurs win and call an immediate timeout. Wemby exits the game never to return. Once again Pop trolls TV and the NBA......

I thought it had already been decided that if Wemby didn't score 50 that he was a bust.

Only 14 points? At that point I have to wonder if he can even stick in the G League....

Nice, I'm going to the Venetian on business later this year. Didn't even know the sphere was attached to it.

It's on the corner of Koval and Sands. So it's behind the Venetian and across the street. About a block off the strip.

i dont care if wemby is only 19, or not as prepared as duncan was. he should frankly look dominant against this level of compe ion with nba rules as opposed to what he saw in fiba. this shouldnt be THAT much more of a challenge than his games against ignite where he scored 35+ both times

    he should sleepwalk to 20+

One thing is for sure - no matter if he puts up a pedestrian statline or a dominant one, people are going to make a big deal out of his performance

Wemby needs to slam on somebody and yell "This is ing America!" in his French accent, tbh.

. My wife wants to go to the movies…. And it’s around the time of their game. Any way to rewatch the games?
Tell her you'll go to the movies tomorrow. She can watch Victor with you tonight.

This place is an absolute zoo.

It's like it must have been for the Beatles in February '64.

I got here at the end of the first game (two games before the Spurs). Nothing in the lower bowl.

Waited for the between game lull. Nothing.

You walked up and down but no words were spoken. You would simply point at the seat(s) and a simple cordial shake of the head would follow. It almost seemed like we were attempting something illicit that would never happen.

I'm center court right now., 2nd row -- in the upper bowl.

Entertaining warm-up game so far between Portland/Houston. Scoot and Amen both looking real solid. Jabari Smith still looks like

It wouldn't surprise me if Pop trolls the media and fans Sitting wemby with less a min to go before game start.

Pop is there in Vegas and you know he can't help himself with the power flex.

    I'm kidding! I hope...

Only one guy on the court can facilitate and it's Scoot. He looks solid. Houston doesn't have a single guy who is looking to pass. Amen is looking good, but I don't buy him as a point guard at all.
