Are you crying now because WE HAVE Tim Duncan, the same man you derided last year in all your loopy posts? And his legacy, 3 Championship Trophies (roll your eyes now) continues to, as we speak, to be discredited by you North of Waxahachie whining crying wanna-be's?

Let's see what money can do now, um.......
    Dallas Maverick's Payroll:
    $74 million 2006/07 Estimated NBA,
    $22 million over cap

    San Antonio Spurs Payroll:
    $60.9 million 2006/07
    $8.9 million over cap

Oh yeah....(quote) "What a crazy idea that an owner would spend his money to better his franchise!" (unquote)

Where and what has that diaparity gotten you, Loopy's?
OK SA Hayseed, you are ridiculous, so this will be my last response to such an idiot as yourself, but...

Cuban's spending has gotten the mavs the best team in the league right now.

And check your figures for 08. The Mavs and the Spurs are around the same area.

    Go Hayseeds!! Go Spurs!!

    I love it!
Nothing like the sound of loopies grinding their teeth.
And "check around" yourself for the awesome "support" network that Cuban has at his disposal, those $$ don't show up because officially they don't exist.
Ah, the greater the greed the more money we need.
Love also that Yankee term, Hayseed?
Gee, thanks, OK, Hayseed I am then.

you are right. SA is known worldwide for its culture and high education standards.

Helotes is much nicer than ANY place in Dallas!

For someone who hates Dallas so much, why do you spend so much time there, poser?
I don' really hate Dallas, I'm truly fascinated by a city that tries to unify itself as regards it's sports franchises but is truly polarized by the affluent portion being totally fearful of mixing, in other venues, with the "saltier" portion of it's citizenry.

I only visit Dallas or pass through about every 4 or 5 years, the last time for a funeral and that was in a little town past Dallas called Chacota, honestly.

Please expound upon this as I'm somewhat interested in what you believe.

Being somewhat interested in what I'll place here I'll boldface those parts that will help to elucidate:
(BTW, I'll not post anymore on Dallas vs people issues because I don't want for Kori to have to place this thread in any of the other forums)

    People relating their experiences:

    Well,

Dallas is a city growing but with so much cultural divide especially between Anglos and Africian Americans, Houston is far more acceptable. Let’s face it, we all have our own beliefs and quarrels but the “Powers that Be” here in Dallas are so far removed from what is really going on and what is needed. What will it take to get everyone a little closer.

Houston RULES!!! Houston’s diverse community has an at ude of “we can get it done”. They’re not bogged down with issues such as North V. South.
They are fortunate to not be surrounded by other cities such as Richardson, Irving, Plano, Duncanville and etc.

The Cowboys, the Cotton Bowl, and one day maybe Texas/OU will all be in Arlington for one reason:
Arlington, Texas (the country's 50th most populous city) is the largest city in the U.S. that does not offer its citizens public transportation. In May of 2002, Arlington residents voted against the creation of the Arlington Transit Authority, and effectively voted yes to the new Cowboys project. If the Cowboys wanted to be in Dallas, they would be. It's not as important for a football stadium to be in a downtown area as it is for a basketball or baseball arena. Everyone knows the Rangers should be in downtown Dallas.

And who uses public transportation the most?
Make sure they stay away from the games, now.
