Good post...April 15th...
I Got Tickets And I Guarantee A W On Yal's Home Court And All Dallas Fans Will Be Pissed After The Game
FANS OF DALLAS ARE STARTING TO FEEL THE PRESSURE OF THE SPURS GETTING BETTER. REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY SAY, BECAUSE THEY KNOW IF ANYONE WILL KNOCK THEM OUT IT WILL BE THE SPURES. AND THEY WILL KNOCK THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Neither team will probably even play their starters much.
sure.....![]()
spurs are terrifyingly good right now...![]()
Keep Telling Yourself That
No but I'l be in Houston for Saturdays game. GO SPURS!!
My Words Are Very Important. That Is Why I Capitalize Everything Like This.
Like Kori said neither team will play their starters much.
As I have been instructed so many times now on this board, regular season games are totally meaningless...so it really won't matter who wins. Besides, playoff seeding will have been established by then.
I'll be there for sure with my Silver and Black on. If the division race tightens up I think this will be a playoff atmosphere game and all starters will play their usual time. It's the third to last game of the season and I don't see us letting up on this game either way.
Hey, forget the two teams playing, why not let us fans take swings at each other on game day instead, then go for beer afterwards and sing praises to TexasBall dominance!
Where do I sign up?
I 'll Be There In My Silver & Black As Well, And I'm Up For Knocking Some Dallas Fans Heads.
Typo? Did you mean Spares??![]()
U No These Dallas Fans Talk As If They've Won Something I Don't Get It They Haven't Done A Damn Thing Yet. We All Know That The Best Record In The Nba Doesn't= A Championship. Ask Detroit.
Is that a threat?
Yeah, but do that and you'll end up knocking the quiche out of them and
having to wipe it all off your hands and clothes with that '06 WConf banner!
Haven't you noticed that regular season games matter if it's the Spurs winning them? If the Spurs beat Dallas on April 15th that will become the most important game of the year and have great meaning. If the Spurs lose, it will mean nothing.![]()
And same with a lot of Mav fans in regards to a Mav victory or loss.
Our late Feb to March games have always been formative and incubative. They're our emergence months despite what record has been produced up to that point.
Remember now, early season talk and comparisons + peaking too early + tired legs = bad pacing and unrealistic goal setting!
So these past few weeks signal, to us, something very special.
And we keep a close watch on the Mav injury reports.
Dallas is a franchise on the decline. Their peak was the NBA Finals, and as of now, they are still not the NBA champions, and it is almost a year later. Maybe trading Dirk for Alonzo Mourning (since he beat them) would help.
To me, regular season wins (and the current win streak) of the Spurs are just what they usually do: Take care of business and beat teams they are supposed to beat. Their win against Dallas opening night was just that, beating a team they're supposed to beat.
