Eh, forgot Isiah. I don't think I'd elevate Nash over Thomas.

Oh, you were serious? I thought that was a joke. I thought you were making fun of the Suns fans who think Nash is the greatest point guard of all time.
It was tongue in cheek. You misunderstood my post. The only thing that is going to slow down Parker is an injury. As a Suns fan, I want to see him slowed down. I would not wish injury upon anyone. He is already hurt, and the MVP is hurt as well. The Spurs have a much better shot to survive without Parker, than the Suns without Nash.
Relax. I like Tony Parker's game. If Barbosa ceiling is Tony Parker, I would be elated.
I didn't misunderstand your post, I just thought it was an incredibly poor choice of words. If your team wants to slow Paker down, they should consider playing defense. I know ESPN and ABC and Joe Knownothing hate defense and wish everything could be the all-star game, but at some point you have to just win it on the court.
Poor choice of words, maybe. If so I apologize. If you really thought I wanted to see Parker injured, you did misunderstand my post, poor choice of words or not.
The Suns have no idea how to slow down Parker, and that is on the coaching. The Suns need to do to them, what the Lakers did to Nash last series. Trap him high on the pick & roll.
Unfortunately, it looks like the team is made up the way it's made up, and they are just going to have to hope to outshoot their way to a win. From D'Antoni's sideline talks, it sounds like he doesn't have any way to adjust.
That trap didn't work for the Lakers or Mavericks, either.
After D'Antoni's press conference, he conceded that he needs to make adjustments, but I am convinced that he has no clue as to what they are.
The trap should work if executed properly. The ball gets out of the hands of Tony Parker. He can't score layup after layup, along with wide open jumpers if the ball isn't in his hands. The Suns players going under the P&R of the Spurs is re ed. Two years ago, maybe. Since then, Parker's outside shot is reliable.
Possibly, but the Suns might have a better chance leaving the ball in Parker's hands and daring him to keep up the hot shooting. Otherwise the ball ends up in Manu's hands a lot, and the last thing the Suns want is for him to get his confidence back.
A Steve Nash-delivered “head-butt” is the preferred method of execution in 16 states...
Steve Nash doesn’t wear a watch...HE decides what time it is.
I'd agree with you, if they could give up the dribble penetration and make him a jumpshooter. Marion tried that giving him 5 feet of space, and Parker still went around him.
