I hate when players like him get that type of injury. But props for really wanting to gut it out and play. Heart of a warrior...

    EDIT: unlike his dallas buddy...

He's more man than any of these tatooed, braided, chest-thumping, screaming Macho Man fakers.

Steve's all business and no show business.

Nash played awesome on the offensive end, as always, and the Spurs decision to make him shoot all day and shut down the other guys was a sound strategy, just that it didn't work as well as the strategy should.
On the other hand, Parker had a career game again.

Yeah that's why I love Nash. He's a compe or, he didn't even ask D'Antoni to go back in, he just started walking towards the court. He even went right back to make sure Tony was OK after the collision. Just an overall great guy.

Tony also went to the Suns' bench to check on Nash.

    I love this guy.

He was great to watch this game. Classy all the way.

I also liked what he said about Dirk.

It's things like this that easily make Nash my favorite player. Sigh, if only we had kept him on the Mavs...

Nash has more heart than the entire Mavericks squad.

Cuban should pay someone to wipe his blood off the floor, clone it, and try to inject it into Dirk.

Nash gets huge props from me.

Up until this year, he was an overrated player. But this year, he's playing amazing, amazing basketball. Way better than he's ever played.

He went from a horrible defender to actually a pretty damn good help defender and a serviceable one-on-one defender. Offensively, he used to have to dominate the ball to but up huge stats. Now he can dominate without having to dribble 15 times each possession.

I used to think comparing him to Stockton was a joke, but right now he's much better than Stockton ever was.

If this happened to Dirk, he would most likely scream bloddy murder and faint on the spot. Nash deserves his MVP awards.

I used to think comparing him to Stockton was a joke, but right now it's not nearly as much of a joke.
I've been impressed by Nash lately, too, but: Fixed.

I hope his nose isn't broken. I fear it is. I've broken my noce three times (was a boxer in high school) and two of the three times it just poored blood like that. If he broke it, he may have to wear those GD masks which always take a while to get used to.

I pray it's just a gash that couldn't be closed without taking him back and s ching him up.

It looked really bad. I hope it's not a game-affecting injury.

Great seeing him get the recognition for being a player who never gives in, never gives up.

gut it out like a warrior...wanting to play...

He better have wanted to play, I'm pretty sure anyone would. Blood doesn't = extreme pain. Nash barely was affected by the cut, it just didn't stop bleeding.

If anyone hadn't wanted to return after that , they'd be labely the biggest vagina in the world, and in all fairness.
