Bell threw a punch too. Should be interesting.
I've never been more completely in agreement with AHF in my posting spurstalk life.
You think Horry is a bad guy, he is an emotional guy and dammit anyone with eyes saw the Suns whining pay off, now they ign reap what they sow. I want all suspensions, them, then if the Suns still win so be it, but rules are rules and you reap what you sow.
Bell threw a punch too. Should be interesting.
Screw you than. Horry started that whole . Stern's a dictator so he'll suspend Horry, Stoudemire, and Diaw.
Ewing back in 97 against the Heat basically had his pinky toe on the court and he was gone from the next game, like i said Horry was wrong but Amare will pay the price for his reaction by grabbing a seat for game 5.
Section VII—Fines
a. Recipients of technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct will be assessed a $500 fine
for the first offense, and an additional $500 for the second offense in any one given game, for
a minimum total of $1,000. If a player is ejected on (1) the first technical foul for unsportsmanlike
conduct, (2) a punching foul, (3) a fighting foul, (4) an elbow foul, or (5) a flagrant
foul, he shall be fined a minimum of $1,000.
b. Whether or not said player(s) is ejected, a fine not exceeding $50,000 and/or suspension
may be imposed upon such player(s) by the Commissioner at his sole discretion.
c. During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the
immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be suspended, without pay, for a minimum of
one game and fined up to $50,000.
The suspensions will commence prior to the start of their next game.
A team must have a minimum of eight players dressed and ready to play in every game.
If five or more players leave the bench, the players will serve their suspensions alphabetically,
according to the first letters of their last name.
If seven bench players are suspended (assuming no participants are included), four of
them would be suspended for the first game following the altercation. The remaining three
would be suspended for the second game following the altercation.
d. A player, coach or assistant coach, upon being notified by an official that he has been
ejected from the game, must leave the playing area IMMEDIATELY and remain in the dressing
room of his team during such suspension until completion of the game or leave the building.
Violation of this rule shall call for an automatic fine of $500. A fine not to exceed $50,000
and possible forfeiture of the game may be imposed for any violation of this rule.
Suspend them. Period.
off? such anger. are you pissed off that your ing re ed center did a ing re ed move? I personally don't care if he gets suspended or not.
The Spurs lost this game, the suns capatalized on the Spurs blowing it in the last three minutes. Thank your team for atleast having the balls to do that.

Well I think the suns are still good w/o amare but the odds are against them in that game, they're gonna have to look into the crowd for support and mulitple double teams on duncan.
It's possible.
I wonder how many games horry will get?
Is at flagernt foul 2 an automatic suspension?
heres whats funny. when we were arguing the past few days about bruce being dirty, and spurs posters on this board would call out raja as being dirty, they would always point to the kobe bryant clothesline. NOW all of a sudden SINCE one of their boys did almost the same exact thing...its NOT dirty... wishy washy bull all over this board.
According to the rules I posted above, Amare is suspended without a doubt.
Maybe it's an afterthought, but with all the talk that Amare did for almost a week now and then leaving the bench onto the floor (for whatever reason) would that be enough to suspend him?
I'm thinking all the talk he did will come back to haunt him here. I didn't see Amare holding anyone back, he was being held back by asst. coaches. They knew what could happen and from looking at D'Antoni in the post game interview, he may be expecting the worse.
No one knows until tomorrow but if the NBA goes by the letter of the law - fair or unfair - most likely Horry, Amare and Diaw are suspended.
Suspend all three... they are all pricks.
Amare and Diaw are gone they have to be thats the ing rules, you cant leave that bench at all, question is bell gone to for throwing the punch
weve played without amare this entire series... i just hope boris doesnt get suspended.
A- ing-men.![]()
Oh I think every Spurs fan knows the shot by Horry on Nash was dirty.
As was Raja's hit on Oberto tonight.
The NBA is pissed at Amare and Diaw for being dumb s and putting them in a position where they HAVE to suspend them. If Amare and Diaw were as smart as, say, Jalen Rose (who has the IQ of garbage but is still smart enough to keep his ass on the bench) - then they wouldn't be suspended. They know the rule, they broke it. It's the LAW of the NBA.
If anything, this is going to boost the Spurs ratings. The league will love it, because now the Spurs have become the Pistons of the late 80's. They aren't boring any more. Now, they're the dirtiest and edgiest team in the NBA. You think you can cheap shot them all game like the Suns did tonight? Well, here you go Mr. Nash - eat some ing table and watch your dumb as teammates screw the team over.
If you think a hip check in any way equates to a clothesline, you're a ing moron.
Trust me Amare is gone. In the past the NBA has suspended stars for just moving a little away from the bench. They don't waiver on this rule.
What Horry did was flat out wrong and without a doubt the DIRTIEST thing done by the spurs this series--it was the ONLY dirty thing, but it came to that point because of a number of other reasons and Suns should suffer the consequences for breaking rules just like we do.
There's no question Robert is dirty, I remember when he punched a Spur in the nuts when he was a Laker.
There you go so it means nothing whether Amare was checking in or not he was not playing in the game when this happened so by the letter of the law he is GONE for game 5.
Nash just admitted in the post-game that those two left the bench, but tried to explain it away by saying there was no fight
Dude just admitted his own guys left the bench. Game over![]()
c. During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the
immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be suspended, without pay, for a minimum of
one game and fined up to $50,000.
Amare and Boris were near the immediate vicinity of their bench.
NO SUSPENSIONS AFTER ALL.
