Yes, I will say that all day, and I'm a huge Kidd fan as well. Remember, he spent the years in Phoenix, and was shipped, which was a very unpopular move in Phoenix. I will always stick by great players who wore that uniform, and Kidd did for longer, but he still was never the PG Nash has become.
Nash has been this player for a whopping 3 years.

Kidd, however, was Jason Kidd for his ENTIRE CAREER.

You think Nash's CAREER, with all 3 of the good seasons in it, is better than Kidd's?

    Wow. Just wow.

Another lie. What you describe above is after the Horry foul. The game was over as soon as Nash got two shots and the ball. Since Horry basically said the reason he fouled Nash was because if Nash got by him the game was over, I'm not sure why you are so sure Horry thought the game was over.

BTW, easjer: There was no inbounds on that play, the Spurs missed a shot. And Finley never made contact. That's why it made sense that Horry was worried about Nash getting past him.

My apologies, OV. You are correct, but I would swear that Finley made contact without the foul being called. I will go with your recollection.

It doesn't change the fact that Horry gave a clear, impossible not to call foul in the form of a body-check, with arms at his sides.

THAT won't hurt a player and it is clear that Horry's intention was not to hurt Nash.

Compare to Raja Bell's altercations with Kobe.

You aren't going to hurt someone with a body check, particularly when both his feet are on the ground. Knock him down, maybe. But if he wanted to harm Nash, he could have. Just by throwing an elbow or putting an arm in his way.

Uh, dude, it's a valid point. The Suns and Spurs each came back from deficits in that series, so the idea that either team thought game 4 was over is laughable.

The Jazz moron is owning you. Something about knowing more about basketball than you do.
The Jazz fan doesn't know . He thinks they deserve something for making it that far, because he really knows that team isn't that good, and wants to be rewarded.

Horry laid his shoulder in like the he is, and always has been. Bell came to the defense of his teammate who was knocked down, and then Horry made another move and elbowed him. The rest of it is on the Suns from there with Amare and Diaw, but it will always be the little girl Horry who got it all going because he couldn't handle losing like a man.
Apparently you and Big Shot Rob have something in common.

I don't want to get rewarded for losing. We ended the season losers.

But what I want you to know is we got to lose in a round you didn't participate in.

He wasn't an elite point guard in the league.

    He was a good starter.

Not a guy whose career is compared to Jason Kidd's. Especially not with his Dallas numbers.

If we made beating down the hottest team in the league in 5 games look easy, more power to us.

    Go Jazz!!

Horry laid his shoulder into what? He hit Nash with his hip. Horry was defending himself from Bell.

Funny that you mention Horry not being able to lose like a man. Nobody knows more about that than you and your team.

They were never the hottest team in the league. As I have stated before, they won against a team they matched up great against. And Warrior fan will tell you that. They really never had much chance against the Jazz, they were a far inferior team.

The Phoenix Suns are the new ___ramento Kings. Losing wasn't their fault, it was everyone else's, and just wait till next year when they prove that they are the true WC Champs, except that the refs and the league are going to job them or some .

I don't need to look at Nash's numbers, Spider.

I know he hovered around 17 and 7 in his later years in Dallas.

Isn't that about what a player like Jason Terry does? I mean, 17 and 7 is solid, but not worthy of launching Nash into the top 10 of all-time.

He needs to play about 5 more years like he is now to be compared to Stockton. And he'd still be worse.

Hey, we all took losing in real clean games the past 2 yeas, but then all the that the Spurs pull during that series, of course nobody will just take it, because it wasn't a clean series played by the Spurs. You would all say the same damn thing with roles reversed.

And Stoclton never scored what Nash did, but had more assists, and Nash is ahead in every other category. Stockton had one category better than Nash, so how can you call him that much greater, unless of course you are being that much of a homer.

When we were getting roughed up by the Utah Jazz in the Nineties, not everybody liked it but we didn't make excuses. We demanded the Spurs match that kind of physical intensity.

You guys think the NBA needs to change the rules to accommodate your style of play (or brainfarts, in Amare and Boris' case) and eliminate obstacles for you. That's not how it works.

    Kidd > Nash.

You realize when you told me to compare both of their Dallas numbers that Kidd's regime in Dallas was the first 3 years of his career? One of which he got hurt and played only 22 games?

He had a better season in his 2nd year than Nash ever had at Dallas. 17 and 10 I think he had. Kidd averages 15, 9, and 7. FOR HIS CAREER.

    Kidd >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nash.

Ok, take out the East, fair enough, but nobody in their right mind seriously thought the Wariors had really any chance to win 2 rounds, after spending all their energy to win that first one.
