I don't see how people are saying Dirk choked because he missed the last shot. Even though the events that led to him getting in position for that shot violated NBA rules, guys miss last-second desperation three point shots all the time. Every game decided by two points or less probably ends with a shot like that by the losing team.

Dirk choked by not playing better during the game... lot's of guys would have missed a 3G with two seconds left, and Dirk's 3G% has been a lot lower this season, not much of a shocker that he missed it.

Not that much choking occurs in December games anyway, and I enjoy the clutch win by the Spurs, but for real.... saying Dirk choked for something everyone on the Spurs roster has probably done at some point in their careers... I lawled.

Okay, how about saying that Dirk is a choker because he misses ALL of the clutch shots every night? Game after game. In fact, to find the latest Dirk choke moment, all you have to do is look at the final 24 seconds of the most recent Mavs game. He's money on those choke plays now. He's done. These past two years have psychologically scarred him badly, apparently.

Okay, "blessing in disguise". You may be the only mavs fan who feels that way.

If I were the mavs, I'd trade Terry. He always get torched "guarding" the opponent and for every hot shooting night he has, he has 10 nights of worthlessness + thug wannabe.

True true. Nobody can deny that JT is a nut-punching little . Probably only Melo is a more annoying little wannabe thug punk . That's an incontrovertible fact of reality. But what's always amazed me about him is the bull hype he gets around the league.

He's not a viable starter and never has been. He's not a viable point-guard, because he handles the ball like a fool and is always looking to shoot first.

He's not a viable shooting guard because he's a little , and he's so streaky (as you pointed out) that you can't count on him for 9 out of 10 games.

He gets embarassed on D constantly because, again, he's a little .

He's got a terrible at ude and is constantly embarrassing himself & the team by obnoxiously cheering for himself after anything positive that he does.

In short, he's really a total bag and a waste. Avery wants to try to mimic the Spurs and use him like Ginobili ... but the problem is that Ginobili is a viable starter and Terry is really just a little punk at the end of the day. My conclusion is that JT is probably about equal to a player like, say, Eddie House ... except that House isn't a little annoying nut-punching asshole with a horrible at ude like Jason Terry.

But hey, that's just my opinion.
