I get jokes.
NO. NO. NO. the Spurs need Tim like a boat needs a rudder. they will win games without him thanks to Manu, Barry, Tony, Oberto and the rest of the team. but Tim fills a spot both physically and mentally.
Yet again Miss (or Mrs?) Ellis, please, please, please put a thread rating system up in this .
Or just rename this thread "one star".
Awful.
It's like a twist in an M. Night Shyamalan movie. The trolls infiltrated by convincing us that we were just posters...when in fact we were all just trolls!?
Scary Larry!
Yeah! Sit Duncan! Apparently he sucks ass butt!
Can we trade him for Kobe now? Or is he only worth Darius Miles?
Life better without oxygen? Discuss
What a waste of a thread
In the long run, we need Duncan.
Duncan just extends his contract. I don't think his market value is still very high! Actually I think Parker's market value is very very high, and maybe he wouldn't renew his contract anymore when his current contract is over. So, it is necessary to trade him before that time.
What is the point of this other than to waste bandwidth?

Off subject, but I noticed no posts to the Scola thread in 14 hours. It must be a record. I didn't want to post there however - let's see how long it takes when subject has a 1/3 from the field with two points and five fouls on a team one game over .500 and lacking direction with two All-Star players who have played the vast majority of the time this year. Trusting Steve Francis and Bonzi Wells to play consistently well (31 and 22 minutes respectively) is a recipe for disaster. There is a serious point guard void with that team.
Ginobili sucks?? U need serious help. Get off the board and Google "mental illness"
Also what I saw from these two games was the Spurs stepping up big time. I mean they really all elevated their intensity, effort and energy level to the maximum degree for a REGULAR SEASON game. I don't see that happening consistently over an entire regular season without TD because it's too difficult to play at that high/intense level and for that reason, SPurs would have to put out maximum, lights-out effort every night to win consistently and win playoff series. Duncan allows the rest of the Spurs to play off of him, allowing them to sometimes coast or play at 80% level and still win, thereby conserving their energy and allow them to close out the series in 5th, 6th and if necessary, 7th games of playoff series.
Spurs simply can't play at this level of intensity consistently without Duncan and the only reason why the Spurs pulled it off (and don't forget they were behind both the Mavs and the Jazz fair amount in the first quater) was because they didnt want to get EMBARRASSED by the Mavs and the Jazz and then of course Manu really took over once it got close enough and he could smell the blood, knowing what a compe or he is.
You NEED a paint player on both ends because otherwise it just makes it so difficult for the rest of the Spurs to consistently hit perimeter jumpers or dribble penetrate or stop the opposing Bigs or Guards from penetrating. Without Duncan, we would have no chance against the Suns for example, for the obvious reasons.
, i really like Matt Barnes. Too bad he didn't come over to the Spurs this year. He has an at ude and can shoot the 3's. Also very good, long defender who is quick enough and aggressive enough to bother Dirk a lot last year. I thought he was one of the keys last year for the Warriors along with Baron and Jackson obviously.
and Daequan Cook? Miami would get the loser end of the deal and would surely suck. Wade, Tony, Tim, and Shaq on the floor wtf?![]()
This team has been impressive without Duncan thanks to Manu playing out of his mind and Parker being solid. If Manu cool down just a little we will be in trouble. This team needs Duncan.
I just took a .
So it's settled.
Spurs better with Duncan.
Whoever created this should be banned from not only the forum, but breathing as well.
