no
These two wins have been impressive.
But this team does not win a Championship without Duncan.
wow... I guess you didn't watch tonight's game very closely did ya? Our defense is crap without him. They murder us in the paint. Can you imagine the Spurs without their D? Defense is out iden y, we live and die by it. Take Duncan away, and we're dead, simple as that.
Umm, I guess you can't count. Utah had about a bazillion points in the paint. TD plays and it's no contest.
without duncan, this team can still fight for a playoff spot imo
Stupid thread
no way
This shouldn't even be discussed. The answer is NO.
No - we just can't maintain this pace forever - team is not built today on the idea of not having Tim for long periods of time or never. With another structure/players it might be why not but not now.
choade bloated i saaaiid.
Fixed.Spurstalk.com better without thispego?
Discuss.
if anyone thinks we are they need to be hit in the face with a sledge hammer
we may be winning without him, but our post defense sucks ass without him....and our low post scoring isn't that great, we are just lucky ppl are making key 3 pointers these last two games
Is this a joke?
With Duncan on the floor against the Jazz we win by almost 20.
With him off we barely win. Huge difference.
duuuhhhSpurs better without Duncan?
NO WAY. Timmy is the man that makes the Spurs a Championship caliber team. without any of the big three it's easy to know we'd be good but not THIS good though.
More free flowing offensive for our guards, but our D will be ed up. Duncan is a master of double teams and improving other players and will start to dominate if other players aren't scoring.
TP and Manu could do that, but not in comparison to Tim.
Also, Duncan is G.O.A.T
My thoughts exactly. Pego pulled it off.
no.
this game more than any other showed how much this team needs TD. without him, we needed a big game from manu and oberto to steal the game. with him, its a 20 point win without even breaking a sweat.
i was thinking fail at first, but i knew it had potential
The numbers don't lie. Without Duncan, win percentage = 100%. With Duncan, win percentage = less than 100%. How is this even a debate? Don't you guys know math?
