Well of confidence or being real?
Well of confidence or being real?
idk man philip rivers will prob cave under pressure before manning does. its really up to LT
I forgot about the Immaculate Reception. Add the '76 Raiders to this list.
it will be a close game but chargers atleast knows they can hang with the colts
have not lost since 2004 in ot
Emo LT hasn't left us, he's just been delayed for one week. Next week we'll see him pout and cry and refuse to let Philip Rivers sit next to him as the Chargers get their pansy asses kicked. Maybe this year he'll kick it up a notch and call out the Colts for celebrating on their own field.

Dungy seems to give the Chargers more credit than JT.
“People have told me we’re healthier and we’re playing better and I believe that’s true,” Dungy said. “I don’t think we’ll play a game like we played out there, but I think San Diego’s better. They were in the process of finding themselves, too, early in the year. I think they’re pretty grooved, with a seven-game winning streak and knowing what they do well. They’ve looked pretty good in the last few weeks to me."
What have I said about the Chargers other than they only won because of some rare ing mistakes that won't happen again? Pfft. Obviously making the second round means they are a good team.
Rivers = 2 playoff appearences as a starter, 1 Pro Bowl
Cutler = 0
Actually read an article where they asked Rivers about that incident and he said he was saying "atta boy" to Wilhelm who had just sacked Cutler, yet the commentators ran with it saying he was jawing at Cutler. Either way, I like to have a QB that has fire in him. All of Rivers teammates have said over and over again that he is a "football player" who happens to play QB.
JT, there is no need for me to quote everything you've said in this thread, re-read your own comments if you need clarification.
I'd rate them about even right now, with Cutler having the higher upside. Rivers can still be a very good QB, but he has to stop playing like Eli.
And I like the Chargers to win by 6.
Rivers/Merriman/Kaeding >>>> Cutler or Eli
I look at the big picture.
ya think?
One of the most one sided trades I've ever heard of.
When the Chargers are bad, it seems everybody wants to trade up that year.
LT, Rivers, Merriman, Brees, Kaeding for Vick and Eli. That's two deals where the Chargers raped the other team, with two different GMs no less.
I'd wish the Lions were as lucky, but it's pointless if Millen is still making the picks.
A.J Smith is a top GM when it comes to drafting. Wonder how he will deal with Turner..
Brees also netted us a pick in the next draft which bolstered the oline.
