I wonder if we'll beat a winning team before the season ends. Probably not, unless NOLA has nothing to play for in the season finale.

Ummm unless lottery bound teams are on the Mavs path to the 2008 championship, they will achieve that goal and more in the upcoming weeks. Now findog sit back and enjoy a histroical run to the 2008 le. Wed night with Dirk coming back...the big run begins. Man this s gonna be fun!

Erick Dampier: + 10 +/- in his 12 minutes of burn tonight. Wasn't in foul trouble either. Also played big minutes in one of the two wins in the playoff series, and played well in the win at home against the Dubs earlier this year. Why didn't he play more? When will Avery get it through his thick ing skull that Dampier is an asset against smallball teams like Golden State?

Warriors smack the Mavs again! I love it.
the Mavs played without their best player and their second best player of late. the warriors were expected to win and they did. nothing to get excited about you ing re . the Mavs would have beaten them 4 times this season if they weren't shorthanded.
side note: Avery was outcoached again. He benched Damp without a foul and got outrebounded big time.

I don't want Dirk rushing back before he's ready. If he can return Wednesday against GS, we have a shot to make the playoffs. But if he misses any more time, we're done.

I'm sure the Mavs will compete on some level before the playoffs, and I'm sure they'll make the playoffs.

It all depends on Dirk's return. We still have @ LAL, PHX, PORT and vs. GS, UTA and NOLA. We haven't beaten a winning team since the Kidd trade. This team just isn't that good w/o Dirk. If he can play against GS on Wednesday, I'm confident we take that game since they'll be in SA the night before. And he gives us a fighting chance against the Lakers and Suns. But w/o him, we'll continue to lose to good teams.

I swear that if Avery isn't fired next season I'm drastically cutting the time I spend watching this team. How many more ing games must we lose because Avery decides to go small? Avery Johnson. A coach is supposed to do everything to put his players in a position to succeed, but not Avery Johnson though. His players must try to overcome his coaching in every single game.

It is almost anonymous that Avery sucks as a coach. I don't many left that actually think he is a good coach. My first su ions were when Van Horn was playing at Center and Daniels totally getting benched.

Firing Avery doesn't begin to solve this team's problems. They've underachieved this year, and that falls on the coach to some degree, but I don't see his dismissal as the magical elixir for fixing this team.
