OK SERIOUSLY...Unlike 99% of the Mav fans here, I am still watching every game rooting my heart out for this team. If you seriously have already quit on this year, then go jump on another teams wagon and see you next October. These funeral jokes are getting old quickly. This is for a thread on fans who still actually give a about this ing team and still keep their faith. Go post in your offseason/KFC threads if you want to go make jokes.
God, I hate the ing Warriors. And now this week we have Nelly doing his reverse psychology bull by saying the Mavs will make the playoffs with little problem and that the team is far better with Kidd, even without Dirk.
After last night, I think GS is going to want to come out to stomp a mudhole in Dallas' asses early. me, they shoot a ridiculous number of 3s.

Mavs in strong start, but their recent history in that arena has been horrible.
Who said I'm quitting? I'm watching the game, hoping for the best and fearing the worst. Your team has four rings, our team continually disappoints and breaks hearts. Let's see the Spurs do the same thing to their fans every year and see how optimistic you are.

What he said. Spur fans have been blessed for the past 20 years. Don't ing preach to me about giving up, I was there when this team won 20 ing games. It's a lot more heart breaking when you're the best team in basketball for 2 years and continually get embarassed in the worst way imaginable.
What I don't like is mavs fans crying all over the place. Realism is one thing, pessimism is another.
What is "giving up"? Do we affect the outcome of games? Why is it such a crime to be pessimistic about your team's chances to do anything when they've played like ass for 6 weeks and counting? I was there for 11 wins and Quinn Buckner. I don't need anybody to lecture me about what cons utes being a good fan. Do you "believe" great things are in store for this team this year? If the answer is no, why is it such a crime for me to be pessimistic as well?
Nothing is more irritating than being told that I'm somehow letting my team down because I don't "believe." I had more faith and "believed" more in the 36-win team that featured the Three J's. I had more faith and "believed" more in the Big Three of Nash, Dirk and Finley that upset Utah in the playoffs. This team is more talented but has persistently underachieved, so no, I don't "believe" in them.
