There is no such thing as momentum in basketball. Things can change quickly from one game to the next. you could say if the spurs win game 4 they will have momentum so they should win game 5. Doesn't work that way. Look at what happened to the lakers from game 2 to game 3. No momentum there.

The point is, you blew a ing 3-1 lead in the playoffs. That's a historical feat. And a whole lot of the players on this team were part of that. And they will remember it when the series goes to 2-2.

Poster was right, you must be on crack or trying to kid yourself if you think this year's Lakers squad is similar to one TWO YEARS AGO. You keep saying they had a healthy Andrew Bynum. Andrew did not even start, let alone play meaningful minutes; he wasn't even developed yet. The team had Kwame and Parker as starters, both of whom have fell off the face of the basketball world. Don't try to kid yourself trying to compare Fisher's number with Smush's because if you do not know the difference you know nothing about basketball. The only reason they were up 3-1 is Kobe's performance in the 4th quarter and overtime where he hit the game winner. Other than him and Odom, the rest of the team didn't perform.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Most LA fans have probably never even been to SA and vice-versa for SA fans. It's just another childish point to argue when the focus should be on the games, teams, players, etc.

I was born in Texas - thank god my dad moved us to LA when I was 7 years old - I have been back to visit several times, unfortunately - besides perhaps Austin, you couldn't pay me enough to live there.

Actually, you couldn't pay me enough to live anywhere near the "congested" areas of Los Angeles either (I live on the edge of the wilderness about 30 miles north of LA proper). In So Cal in general, people are shallow, self centered, and uncultured - Nor Cal is a much better place to live.

That being said, what the does it matter what the city you are from is like when you root for a sport team? To many lame posts on this thread.
