2k9 is badass. I got it and I must say I can't believe I didn't get it sooner.
I was about 15 points down in the 3rd quarter to the Lakers when I let Tim Duncan take over a bit. My defense sucks because I'm new so we were just trading shots... but then the D started doubling Tim and I hit about 10 3 pointers in the 4th quarter alone. I felt re ed cheering on my fake Spurs team, but I couldn't help pumping my fist every time Finley or Manu hit an open 3.
I ended up beating the Lakers like 135-110

idk... maybe. i havent played a basketball game regularly since 2k1 on the dreamcast.

we need someone to be the wizards now...I booted that guy but due to that gay ass 2k where once I have sent an invite to someone and they dont accept it or someone accepts it before they do....I cant send them another invite latrer on because it says I have already sent them an invite....even if its for a different team....gay gay gay
so if you want in you can practice with the wizards...not sure who all they have on their team
if not I will just give everyone a win who has yet to play against them

i thought it was the real teams.. not fantasy. i was actually hoping id get a ty team so i could have more of a challenge.
we'll see how this league ends... i want season2 to be as realistic as possible and i want us to start with established teams and only get better as way of trades. that's my outlook on season2 so far. i don't know if others will agree with me or not.
that's the best way to go. Fantasy teams kind of ruin the fun.
I looked at the league jman the way they have it set is 16 teams so everybodies team is fairly stacked.
Only problem with that Kori is
1. Some teams are just outright crappy :P
For example even though I like some of the players and know how to use them playing as the bucks on superstar or hall of fame is hard as .
2. Everybody races to grab LA/Spurs/Nuggets/Cavs/Boston as these are the big powerhouses.
maybe a stipulation that a team is giving 1 all-star or super star from a team not chosen. So if the Clippers, Bucks, and Thunder aren't chosen as teams... then after a sort of draft in the league players can choose a baron davis, redd, or durant type of player.
or if a team is rated 90 or above they get nothing, 80-89 they get an all star, 70-79 they get an all star and a solid role player etc etc.
just some ideas.
Fantasy is the only way to level out the talent on each team. Having real teams would put people who have Boston Cleveland LA or the Spurs at an instant advantage.
especially if cats like you and kc get them....it would really suck for us...I am with a draft
I've never played a basketball game as anything other than the spurs... it'd be awkward as .
I guess as long as i fill a roster with players similar to the spurs (bowen-battier, parker-barbosa) it shouldnt be as weird.
I had that some feeling too
I member when I would play Z0sa it took me a minute to realize I wasnt SAS
as soon as I saw spurs i got em, and that was a big part of the reason - u feel luckier with your fav team
That said, that wizards team has a piece or two I might want. check trades

I'm fully for fanstasy draft.The league has to be balanced.BTW How long me and crcji have to wait for our trade to take place.Does someone from the admins has to aprove it?I had a trade earlier odom for hamilton.Both sides aproved but the trade didn't happend.
it didnt get approved because at the time there was no user assigned to that team

also what makes it not fair is that whoever sets up the league has first dibs on what team to get
I could have picked the spurs but choose to get the knicks and let you all get first come first serve
another reason why I wouldnt want to do a regular league
the more players we have for the league the more balanced the teams will be
