Official Xbox Live Nba 2k9 League

So as we all know the last time we tried this league thing it went down the drain, well I just bought myself a full year of XBOX LIVE and I want to make the most of it. Seeing as we had atleast 9 people interested in the last league attempt I thought it be in our best interest to try and get the ball rolling once again with a new league.

First, I want to see how many of us are interested and are willing to walk the walk and not just talk the talk this time around. All you gotta do is leave your XBOX Live Gamertag in this thread and I will add you to a list that will be comprised of other interested ST posters.

Once DECEMBER 10, 2008 ends I will not be accepting anymore requests to be in this league.

I will setup the league based on polls about league settings, afterwhich I will then send out invites. If you have any suggestions for sliders and whatnot I wanna hear them. Remember to vote! Voice your opinion! hahaha.

PS: INVITES WILL BE SENT OUT DURING DECEMBER 15, 2008 - DECEMBER 19, 2008. REFER TO THE WEBSITE.

I was close to starting a thread like this. I'm definitely in. I would suggest a few things on the sliders, but I say we make a separate thread for this after we get enough players.

ok here's the deal... first lets decide if we want custom sliders involved at all, what exact settings we want to use for the league, when we all can play(time/day), etc...

after all this is decided upon i will start sending invites out to all on my list. oh updated list coming soon.

nope! you are in... it's only too late when we official start the league which i don't exactly have a time frame for at this moment. soon though!

it's alright... i've been getting used to the broadcast camera when i play online so hopefully i'm not last place in this league when all is said and done.

Is broadcast the usual camera like in quick game, which is like real NBA telecasts? if so its the same one Ive been using since day 1 and always preferred it ... =D

it's the default camera online... sucks there's no 2k camera but hey ain't nothing we can do about that and seeing as i have just purchased a full yr of live i figure i might as well get this league going regardless of what cameras are available.

i am working on a cms portal for us all(league players) to be able to login to and get updates on our league and whatnot. stay tuned people for the site to launch sometime in this week or next. i'd love for this all to turn into something similar to frenchnba.com but who knows, we'll see how this all pans out.

how long are the quarters, what level do we play on...how long is the season? Is there an entry fee that can be set up on paypal that goes to the winner. Like 5 or 10 dollars per?
