What I don't like about this game is that it exposed weaknesses in this team. Namely the lack of a backup PG.

...But we trailed by 24 points and won by 10. That's ing awesome.

Del negro is a terrible coach, and the Clips SHOULD get rid of him.
With a decent coach this Clippers team has very good potential.

The bench got him the big lead and leaves the frigging starters in the whole 3rd quarter.

And he leaves the poor Evans to get exposed time after time.

    This guy is a clown.

timvp was the only poised poster on SpursTalk when spurs were getting blown out tbh.

    Believe.
Young teams have a history of blowing big home leads in the playoffs. Weather the storm, get it to 10 by half. They won't shoot 63% all game.
I'll say it once a quarter, young teams historically have trouble protecting huge 1st half leads. Tons of time left, just play our game and step up the D
Spurs go on 12-0 runs in two minutes all the time, we're totally in this game. Don't blink cuz we might have this in single digits. Close the quarter.
Spurs have blitzed LAC out of the half in the last two games and owned the third. Let's see if they can do it again.

    Exactly.
Get Patty Mills in, get him some minutes, it will pay off against better teams.
No way neal can play PG in the WCF or the Finals.
    No way.

Luckily, no one left has as quick a backcourt as the Clips, so this weakness will be minimized moving forward.

While I do think Mills can be a better option at back up PG, he can't play big minutes... he might force turnovers...

I think we're okay, when Manu and Neal are in there.. I don't just don't* UNDERSTAND why Pop lets Neal dribble the ball when Paul.. one of the best at stealing the ball in the NBA is constantly pressuring him.

Actually Neal should be able to be hidden on defense a lot better against the likes of Derek Fisher or Steve Blake in the WCF. This is just a terrible matchup for Neal and Jack as well. I hope they keep mentally sharp because they'll both be needed in the next round.

That said, for this matchup game 4 I think Mills should get some minutes to limit TP and even if Neal is playing bad again.

After Paul, it will be Westbrook.

And after that, it might be Rondo.

Neal just cant' bring the ball upcourt in pressure situations.

Seriously unreal. They play like they KNOW they can't lose.

I'm as big a Spurs homer as the next guy, but damn, this game looked like a loss after the first quarter. Amazing comeback!

The Spurs may not lose a single game in these playoffs. Seriously.

Neal problem wasn't Paul. Paul is a starter and Neal is in the 2nd unit.
The problem was Mo Williams, Eric Bledsoe etc...

In the WCF, the 2nd unit PG is Fisher and the 2nd unit PG for Miami and Boston are also bad

If the Clips are up big in the second half, Pop may wave the white flag early and rest them for Game 5. NFW we lose a Game 5 back in SA.

That said, after today's game, I don't think this Spurs team can be beaten.

Pop postgame interview: Can you tell us why your team is so special during this run?

    Pop: Not really.

You ask him a question he doesn't like, and ehhh...

    Yeah that was expected.

Thanks for the 2 worst moments of my clipper life: Robinson's 71 and today's punch in the groin.

But a very big genuine thank you for preventing any reason to keep Vinny. If y'all don't come back, Vinny might be signing an extension.
