Sure it does. The Lakers have the best available package. PATFO gonna draw this out and make some GMs make absolute offers, all because you farmers hate LA. It's quite comical tbh
LA may have the “best” potential package but they have not made a good offer. Sorry. You are some how going to land Lebron and your franchise will muck it up and you still will suck

    lol what best available package?

The Lakers have no desirable draft picks and they won't to part with both Ingram and Kuzma. What desirable package are you talking about?

And why would you want Fultz? His shot is busted worse than Lonzo's
It’s not that I want Fultz; it’s that if you are dealing with PHI, he’s the only with upside enough to make it worth it even though I’m not sold there is a reasonable chance he gets there.

So PHI can offer some youngish-vets to help SA win now and then Fultz is the potential guy. But if LA traded Lonzo for something good and offered that + Ingram and some picks then sure.

I'm not sure this is true, even if no one else offers anything. The value of just letting Kawhi walk might be higher than taking crappy, overrated players like Brandon Ingram. Having that cap space could be useful to go get an actually good star instead in a loaded free agent market.

    Where’s Green?
I'm assuming he would be included.. Spurs have too many bodies..it would either be Mills or Green, and I'd be very surprised if they traded Mills after losing Parker and Manu(most likely), too much loss of culture.

I'd almost rather be a farmer at this point. And I work with Hollywood on the daily. Horrible, horrible people in "The Business".
I love how the Lakers front office went from “Hey here’s our garbage for your garbage, but you can only have THIS MUCH garbage, nothing more. No? Okay, we didn’t want your garbage anyway”. I wonder how much they paid sports writers to generate media pressure just to be spurned after a week. If they can sign him next year, it doesn’t make sense to be trading for him now.

Still laughing at Kareem’s tweet telling people to watch out for news from San Antonio. Which bit of news? Belinelli’s signing? Anderson leaving? Bertans re-upping for four more years? Looooool

If SA has a choice in a Kawhi trade of putting in Mills or Danny I will bet my life it’s Mills. I guarantee they would view shedding Mills as a priority and plus Danny could be traded for another asset or a pick as well

I think this is what the Spurs plan on doing, keeping Leonard and only trading him if the offer is to good to refuse. The Cavs obviously should have never traded Irving, LeBron would be gone now and they would still have Irving.

Yeah, you got it. Congrats! It's LMA. The Lakers pitch was really bad. He decided he didn't want to retire into mediocrity like LeBron just has.

It’s also funny how random NBA Twitter guys are b*tching about being “over this Kawhi thing” and just want SA to deal him already

Remember when LA wanted to sign him but he chose us. Remembers LA’s pitch was all about lifestyle, endorsements and nothing about basketball because LA sucked and he was turned off by it. Stay Dwight

LA's pitch to Paul George this year was completely embarrassing. The pitch to LeBron was that they'd sign such ridiculous players to go around him they'd barely make the playoffs and he could say it was their fault. He could just take it easy and make movies or whatever.

I don't think the front office prioritizes shedding Mills's deal as much as fans do IMO..

Pop treated him like a cornerstone, last season I think they legitimately view him as an essential piece to the culture..

I hope I'm wrong, of course..

Gonna flip flop again, they need to ink this POS to a supermax.

I'd give the farm to him, the only thing that would be a dealbreaker would be a no-trade clause. I'd even make Becky sit on Dennis' lap courtside if that's what it took tbh...
    This ˆ tbh...

Pop had to . TP giving up his starting role, tons of drama with Kawhi and trying to deal with it all on the fly.

But the culture is gone with no Timmy, TP and probably Manu anyways with Kawhi doing what he did. So I think they will look to be smart and rebuild quickly and losing Mills helps that out so much more.

Just by swapping Mills for Danny SA could have 30+M in cap space and I refuse to believe they value culture from Mills more than that
