MVPbrook. Even MJ didn't touch these stats...
Harden would also average 34/17/8 if he played lotto teams like the Lakers for an entire season.

2005 kobe tbh... drives the real superstar out of town and has a few seasons to chuck his little heart out as his team struggles

big westbrook fan. say what you will about the amount of shots he's taking... but take into consideration okc lost kd and then look at their roster. he's putting up shots but he's also putting up rebounds and assists.

averaging 41.5 on 43% shooting. parker is shooting 27%..
You do understand that his usage rate is in 42% & he's averaging only 10 assists per 100 possession. James Harden has a usage rate of 35% & is averaging 17 assists per 100 possession.

Harden is averaging 1.6 pts/shot, WestBrick is at 1.2pts/shot. As far as rebounds, WestBrick is notorious for stealing rebounds from his teammates ala Rondo...he's no Jason Kidd.

I agree that Westbrook will never win a championship as the main guy, but doesn't change the fact that they are a poorly built team, at the moment..
Could you look at the Rockets '14-'15 roster & get back at me.

WestBrick had a better roster & was feasting on lotto team back in 2015 when OKC missed the playoffs. There is no excuse for WestBrick to not win 45 games if he's a top 5 player.

WestBrick owns Choke-P3, has since 2014. This is also the year where Choke-P3 has a steep decline like 2014 Porker, dude can't even get into the paint unless it's a switch or a weakass defender like Lillard.

WestBrick stock is also on the rise, it's setting up well for a Kawhi MVP statement game when they face each other before the ASG.

That would be a nice story but our first game agaibst the thunder is late Jan...

I fully expect the thunder to be either around the 50% mark or under by that time and Lebron making a crazy run. ..

I still think Lebron is heavy and clear favourite. He's still going to end up scoring more than Kyrie..and also a decent chance of winning 60.

Choke-P3 tried the cute "I'm going to get a triple-double against the triple-double machine" & ended up getting busted.

Blake is their main offense now tbh. Paul, cant properly attack any bigman with slight speed. Sadly, We are also trotting out Parker and Gasol out there...

otherwise, Id be super confident against the clippers

MVPbrook. Even MJ didn't touch these stats...

And yet there was something that Jordan had that Westbrook seems to lack. Some little thing... maybe someone else knows. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Are you re ed? It's only been 3 games and you're saying MJ didn't touch those stats. You could probably find a 3 game stretch were he had stats like that.

Same for 32yo Re who is off to a stinking start ..Kawhi needs to obliterate their ty wings and be the best player in a potential series against the Cripples for us to get through them..really no excuse this time around..

Another year of statpadding to set up another playoff choke. That is, if he makes it to the playoffs. Last time he didn't have Durant, he couldn't get the Thunder to the postseason.

LMAO - do you guys even understand that he took a quarter of his shots last year from the 3P line, and shot .296? (Danny shot .332 from 3P last season, and people wanted him cut - or at least benched.) For his whole ing career, Hardon shoots about .350 on his 2-pointers outside of 3 feet. If a whole team shot that ty, they would never win a single game. Not one. Ever.

Anybody who wants to jack up that many shots, with that kind of ty FG%? I'll take him on the opponents' team every time. You can talk all you want to about the good things he does. The bottom line is he jacks up a load of shots, at a percentage that loses games. But, damn, he looks good doing it.
Perfect analysis. Unfortunately we'd rather romanticize "passion" and "energy" over quality play from our PG.
