Sequspur?
My friend, let’s walk through this:
1) Do you think Kawhi is disgruntled?
2) Do you think that a disgruntled player would be ok with rotting in the place he is disgrunteld with with no financial security?
So even if you think it’s not about money (it always is, Kawhi is already down 40M from not getting the SuperMax, LA is now asking him to eat another 40M on top of that), would you be fine as a player having a team you want to play for tell you “no thanks” and you now have to stay after all you have done?
Sequspur?
Christ, you think LeBron wants to play with Lonzo. He wants to get rid of that guy and his knucklehead father. That's why they're shopping him on the DL and he's gonna be gone before the end of the season along with Bill Walton's kid.
And of course Pelinka is lying. Classic weasel words. Claiming other GMs have been calling about his players and that's why these players are good. If he had any faith he'd make a case himself instead of making up some fake scenario. Fact is Lake Show has ed up their draft process for five years. Five years of terrible teams and nothing to show for it.![]()
Get the dulytek. Its 400 bucks. No solvents needed. No butane so you wont blow yourself up. Its easy. Heat and pressure is all it takes. you can do it with a decent flat hair iron.
I know you were being tongue in cheek but there really is uniqueness to this board as it's one of the most unmoderated you'll find. It's refreshing in that sense as compared to how easily offended so many people are online on all the other media outlets. (And this is coming from someone who grossly trolled on the usenets newsgroups in the late 90s.)
Outside of the master trolling you'll get some damn good info on some threads here.
I call bull .
If LeBron wanted Lonzo gone, Lonzo would be gone. LeBron signed his contract today because he is good with what the Lakers are doing. Otherwise, he'd string it out until they made the moves he wanted.
Lakers turned down lottery picks for Lonzo in this draft. Only way Lonzo leaves is in a trade for Lillard.
And as for "nothing to show for it" . . . We have LEBRON, es!
So that article doesn’t mention Randle who was actually their best young player?
Lillard. Don't be a dumb . He's not for sale. The Lakers have been shopping Lonzo for two weeks now before his daddy dropped the injury news and scared folks off. They'll come around again. LeBron wants the kid gone. Doesn't want the Lavar circus. He's going to be joined with Deng's horrendous contract or to just get picks or whatever. But guarantee the Lakers don't sign Rondo without knowing that acne-face Lonzo is gone at some point.
I've been on online forums since 2005 when I was 13 (I trolled the older Nintendo forums before they got shut down in 2007). There's definitely an appeal to smaller community, self moderated communities over places like Reddit, Facebook comment threads, etc. Lot less of a hivemind and there's also the fun of running into the same people over and over. Can be a bit of slower pace too.
Dude was trolling nintendo forums. He's an o.g. if he would have said attari forums i would have dibbed him the godfather of trolls.
In retrospect, Kawhi's biggest mistake was to be a quiet guy, tbh.... if he would've been an angry, loud, chest-bumping black man, he would've been traded years ago...
1) Yes, his actions prove it
2) 2018: $18,868,625; 2019: $20,099,188
These are guaranteed deals. Unless CIA Pop somehow has him Colin Kaepernicked, he ain't worried about funds.
That $40 million he's shorted (not $80 million), can easily be made up in Hollywood endorsements. Everyone knows that.
LA ain't saying no thanks, it's actually RC and Pop. Disgruntled stars aren't worth a king's ransomPERIOD.

Keep telling yourself that son. LBJ could have easily signed with Philly, but he didn't now did he?
Our scrubs were so bad that they SWEPT the Spurs WITHOUT a star player.![]()
Bragging about the regular seasonsad how far Lakers have fallen
It sounds very Pop and RC...they are not going to be played by Uncle Moneyloser.
I’ve been thinking this for some time. Make him play and if makes All-NBA (which he’ll need to if not offered the supermax this summer, which could still happen) give him the supermax.
Of course LeBron wasn't going to sign with Philly. He wanted a cush job not having to actually do anything for the next several years on the spinning-their-wheels Lakers. That's why they signed Stephenson and McGee, because he doesn't give a about competing. Sooner you realize this, the better.![]()
It is 80M. SuperMax to Free Agency is 80M.
If he’s sitting out, he will not get paid so it’s not guaranteed. Also, if he plays, and gets injured, sure, he’s made money but he still missed out on massive money.
LA is saying no thanks. If Kawhi wants to play there and willing to re-sign then it’s a slap in the face to not give up all the young players to get him.
222M is what he can sign for here. 139M is roughly what he can sign for there. That's over 80M
Thats a ton of wax right there. I couldnt turn that down
This by far the most important thing in the long term and the short term. We absolutely must not show weakness or the willingness to acquiesce to bullying from a wannabe agent or childish nonsense.
We must not be run ragged by anyone who displays a lack of character, great player or not.
