I just had to chuckle a little when I read this. When I said essentially the same thing (but more accurately "just because a political party puts up a woman"), you gave me the, "do you stand for progress or the status quo?"

I think it was a legitimate question, and it was a question.

and "here is your chance to bust the glass ceiling" or something like that!! Sorry but I can't agree that I (a woman) should decide my vote just because they put her out there, but you (a man) shouldn't "make that decision just because a political party puts them up there."

Oh I don't think you should vote for her just because she's a woman...but ya'll wrote her off as a typical politician and this move was typical pandering...and she isn't, and it's not.

But just for the record...they thumbed their noses at the Hilary supporters by not giving her the VP nomination...and Biden was a horrible choice.

All the more reason to make sure there is a pro-choice administration in place, should one of the sitting justices be "stricken" and require replacing. I know it's a stretch....

That's funny because the judge that wrote the Roe V Wade opinion in the first place was a Republican.

And history has shown that Supreme Court Justices seldom adhere to the politics of their party in making judicial decisions.


It takes 5 Justices to overturn Roe V Wade...there are 7 Republican appointees on the bench right now...and they could have already overturned Roe V Wade several times.

It's not going to happen...and like I said, if it does, there will be a Nation wide raising protest over it if it ever does. And everyone knows it....including the Republicans in office.
