Thank god "playoff Duncan" is still a warrior. I understand the initial post during the regular season, he was not the only one who thought this of Duncan. Who was to know he was just coasting into the playoffs to become unstoppable.

i explicity remember duncan playing like horse during the 08 season, and then the playoffs started and he magically started looking like a superstar again. Looked exactly the same as he does now.

at the le of this thread. Really? Y'all forgot to account for Playoff Duncan.

Tim doesn't have much athleticism any more, but he gets it done with smart, finesse, and sheer perseverance. Last game he had at least two buckets where he was stripped or otherwise lost the ball, but stuck with it and made the bucket. Then there was the 3 straight baskets to seal the game. Then there's his defence... the way he utterly controls the defensive glass... the perfect pnr cuts... passing... silent leadership... etc.

Don't ever doubt that Timmy is a WARRIOR.

one of these years, OP will be right. just not this year.
Duncan will go out as STILL one of the best bigs in the game. OP will never be right. Dirk said it best: Timmy's skillset is never going away.

He's had a lot of bad moments, games, and patterns the last couple of seasons. Wednesday's game was a joy to watch, in fact he started the game with some really bad plays but found his game after the 1st qtr. This can only bring us hope, because Tim playing big in the middle is what has made champions of the Spurs.
