Marion hasn't been a factor, in part, because Bowen is defending him.
Boxing out better and contest shots is a winning formula for the 2nd half.
"defense" includes getting hands up in faces, one of the Spurs defensive trademakrs,
NO uncontested shots.

keys as I see it:
Barry has had three layup opportunities at the rim and passed off. It's not fear or he wouldn't be there. I think he is just trying to be too much of a team player and defer to our big three. He must go in and draw the fouls.
Tim better stop shooting threes. They will let him take that shot all day long.
Parker must go to the hoop and get Nash to foul him.
Suns stated they want us to shoot jumpers. They know we can't beat them doing that--so we better do what we do best. Drive the hoop and pound it in to the big men.

no suprise what amare is doing!
Just FYI...
During the regular season against the Spurs, Amare averaged 38.7 points on 73.3% from the field -- his highest numbers against any team in the league.
Watch that half court 3 by Manu be the difference! Wouldnt that be fantastic! All the last second shots we give up that cost us games and then we turn the tide.
Nazr.... wtf are you doing? You CANNOT lose track of Stoudamire!
Spurs have not been driving enough, esp Tony.
We can't beat the Suns with jumpshots.
The Spurs absolutely have to tighten up on defense in the 2nd half, esp if the Spurs have some cold streaks.
Suns standard win is to hang around just a few points behind, then the other teams has a dry spell, Suns keep scoring, win.
I consider this game essentially tied at the half, the Spurs lead is meaningless factor in the game outcome.
55-50 Spurs
How many inches does Tim have on Marion? Get your game on Tim!
Tony nudges his way around Nash and gets called for the offensive foul. Nash lowers his shoulder into Parker and knocks him down and they call nothing..... dont ing start this now please.
I agree w/ Pop, call it consistantly!
55 - 55
Spurs come out lazy in the second half and Phoenix takes advantage. Time out Spurs.
Looked like it should have been a jump ball!
lets just call offesive fouls on the spurs now
come on refs!
Okay Spurs...lets sprout a pair please!
Will somebody please play D on Jackson?
Out played, out shot, out workd, out huslted and over matched completely thus far in the second half. Suns came out with intensity and urgency and Spurs came out flat. If the Spurs dont get their intensity level up this game will be over before the 3rd quarter is.
OK, that was their run
slow down boys, spurs arent suns
What A Block By Duncan!!!!
