Game one is huge in this series. If the Spurs can get a win, it puts all the pressure on the Suns. The Suns would face a must win game two and then be forced to win a game in San Antonio. If the Spurs lose this game, then they face a very important game two and two must wins at home.

A win this afternoon and the Spurs would be sitting pretty. Can they do it?

    Believe.

The Spurs are battered. Tim is hurt. The defense isn't as good as it's been in the past. Glenn isn't with the team. Things aren't looking ideal.

But this team has many weapons and lots of experience. Can they dig deep and beat a quality Phoenix team?

    I believe.

The Spurs will win the series only if they win Game 1.

    My prediction:

    Spurs 95
    Suns 95 OT .....

With Duncan not being anywhere near 100%, I'm not as confident as I usually am that the Spurs will win this game 1. I'll be rooting for them like never before though!

In 02-03 we lost to the Mavs at home and still won the series.

    So I'm not worried.

Well today is a pivotal game.

Lucky for the Spurs the Suns played a tough game Friday night while the Spurs were able to rest and enjoy the game.

The Suns may be emotionally and physically tired today and the Spurs best be ready to jump on them.

The last couple of game the Suns started slow and finished strong. If the Spurs don't take advantage of that oppurtunity this will be an exciting game.

I am a Suns fan and am hoping for the Suns to win. The Suns are not the Sonics. Please don't confuse their styles. Nor are they the Mavs of the last few years.

The Suns have Amare who is the difference maker between the teams they are compared to. Also not only do the Suns score the most points from jumpers and 3s they also score the most points in the paint.

If any of you guys read our local papers, they gave nicknames to the Spurs starters. Mr. Robot, Mr. Flopper, the French Mystery, Rodman w/o the personality, and "Throw-in".

You can probably figure out who is who. There is a good chat site similar to this called goazcats.com if you want to find good game talk. Not a lot of crap talking but good intelligent stuff.

PJ Carlesimo said the Spurs are going to switch up a bit and start Bowen out defending Marion, so that Timmy won't have to chase him around.

THe Spurs are hurtin too, so I don't think they have a physical advantage today. The Suns are not the Sonics, but at this point I think the Sonics actually had a defense, Suns don't. Suns have Amare, but Spurs have Duncan, he could be the real difference maker depending on how healthy he is.

If Bowen guard Marion that leaves Timmy or Nazr on Q.

Good for the Suns. TD can't guard him and will play off. Q has been a little off this post season maybe that will get his 3s going. The Suns will definitely need that to win.

This series wont be as physical as the other 2, Amare in foul trouble already. He picks up fouls so easily. Spurs need to attack inside!! Definatly have the height advantage!

come on, Nazr, that long offensive rebound was yours, hustle your butt.

come on, Nazr, step out on the screen and get a hand up. Nash will kill us from 12 ft.
