Chloe Elizabeth doesn't roll off the tongue well, but both are absolutely beautiful names.
Kayley is nice but I would have spelled it Kaylee.
My daughter's name is Kayley. I got it out of a baby book. I think it was a popular name at the time because she has met a lot of girls that are right around her age that have the same name. I was a just a stupid kid when I had her, so I'm glad I didn't name her something I now regret.
My wife and I have not decided about having kids, but we have talked about names. If it's a boy it will be Stephen Marshall. I we both liked Stephen and Marshall is a family name on her dad's side. For a girl it will be Chloe Elizabeth. She REALLY likes Chloe...It's just ok for me. Elizabeth is my great grandmothers name and my wife's middle name, so it was probably going to be the middle name no matter what first name we chose.

For a while the Kayley, Kiley names were very popular. My daughter knows several of each. But my daughter's problem is how her own name is spelled. She's Keilie, kee-lee, which was a family name on my husband's side (twin sisters named Sheila and Keilie; no way was I going with Sheila). For whatever reason the -ei really throws people off and she's always being called Kayley or Kiley; drives her crazy!
That's what she gets for having parents that gave her a stupid name. If people can't even figure out how to say the name of your child, you probably ed up.
I don't think it's a stupid name and people think it's pretty when they figure it out. It was easy for me at the time to assume that only stupid people mispronounce the name Sheila or the word "weird", so it didn't seem like a big deal. Now I know.

Name him Seven.
Or name him Sue so he'll grow up real tough.
Without the context of Sheila, I would assume Kylie-like pronunciation because I know more kei = kye people. Largely Asian, but there you go. Kei = kee wouldn't occur to me at first.
But it is pretty.
Me neither.... who would guess that Kei= kee at first? I'd bet about less than 10% of people.
No idea... those are horrible, horrible names. And every other boy is going to have one is a few years.
Naming a boy is much more difficult than naming a girl IMO. With a girl, you can go with the "cute" name, or something unique/unusual and they'll be complimented for it more often than not. You can even go with a unisex name with no problems. With a boy, you have to worry about him being made fun of. Just the nature of the sexes. You want something memorable, but not anything that stands out too much. The right (or wrong) name can literally effect somebody's personality or career path as an adult (that doesn't mean naming him OJ will guarantee him being a pro athlete).
I will never forget when I was pregnant w/ Gabe and hanging out on a pregnancy board. A woman came into the names section and wanted feedback on naming her child Abacus.
A bunch of us said - uh. . . like the ancient calculating tool?
Yep!
She really liked how it sounded.
We tried to reason with her. People got pretty snarky about the whole thing. I can remember saying - Hey, I like the way Xenophobe and Asphyxiation sound, but they aren't names.
Abacus. The future of humanity, right there.
Peggy Hill: "Honey, you're not naming that baby Lasagna."
Those 2 are good, but for a boy, I'd go with Portfolio.![]()
Rhymes with Cornholio, which could be bad. I'd have to go with Riboflavin.

This is by far my favorite name thing ever. I still laugh really hard reading it. Different color is the site author's commentary on the original post.
I love the Lord, am a LDS woman, and would like to name my baby baby Jesus.
Wait, she wants to call him "Baby Jesus"? How will that work after he's 33?
My husband says this is ridiculous because we are not latino and he does not even go to church anymore. I looked and it is a popular name in the US so it must be that others like me are out there spreading His love. His full name would be "Jesus Joseph Dewey". Can any one tell me if when you are at the hospital can you refuse to let your husband have a say in what the birth certificate says? I 18 years old and am a first time mom.
Issue 1: Jesus! (Praise the Lord!) Joseph! (Hallelujah!) Dewey. (.....um.....He's a duck, right?)
Issue 2: Have you ever heard anything so romantic, and yet so filled with Our Heavenly Father's purest love alighting from heaven to his children upon the earth as an 18 year old Mormon girl wanting to have her husband barred from the hospital where she's just given birth so she can name their child Jesus. Joseph. Dewey. Amen.
So have you had the baby yet? If he's missed the due date, it's possible he gets wi-fi in there and doesn't want to be named 'Cayden.'
Or it could be exactly as your husband said, you're not Latino, and hispanics are the fastest growing segment of the population in this country, hence why Jesus (J sounds like an H) is a popular name now.My husband says this is ridiculous because we are not latino and he does not even go to church anymore. I looked and it is a popular name in the US so it must be that others like me are out there spreading His love.
Stupid .
I hope someone mentions that as the husband and father, he actually does have rights, like being there for the delivery and naming the child. Otherwise, he could just go to court and have the baby's name changed without her consent like she did with him.
Tis' true. Im Rucker, my son is Tristin, and we are both ed up....and he is only 2 1/2.

You've got the name of a wannabe tough guy and you're son's got the name of a got
My wife had this thing where she didn't want our boy to have a first name that could be shortened or given a nickname...like Charles could be Charlie, Chuck, Chuckie, Chazz. I just didn't want the kid to be laughed at when he went out into the professional world.
To the OP, what are your considerations?
Name kid Ace.
