could deliver more than one lousy playoff win for his Cowboys (or, as he calls them, los Vaqueros)

That wasn't an intentional tank, that was both Kobe and Mitch getting exposed. That was til Santa Stern brought the Gift.
Now you guys are acting like Cavalier fans, thinking this tank will change everything. I'm sorry son, dreams don't always come true in Los Estados Unidos. You have my sympathies.

- no. I'm expecting a good player on a rookie contract. Spurs, Cavs, Mavs and other small owners created this new CBA. Not only do you not get any food stamps (aka Laker luxury taxes), y'all gotta watch us add another cheap piece towards another rang. I guarandamntee that while you Laker haters are playing checkers (by trolling us because we going lottery), the NBA owners are feeling just the opposite. No Laker luxury taxes = no shared Laker revenues. We are still raking in the dough. Difference? We don't have to share it (chess).

Gasol being out past the trade deadline resulting in him walking in the offseason for nothing after the Lakers shopped him 50,000 times is justice.
so you're admitting that the days of reloading are over and now you're forced to rebuild like ty teams? interesting. also interesting you know how the NBA owners feel because your familia cuts their grass. smdh. son you've gone full re ed. this tanking has not been good for you.
^ not if the Lakers somehow manage to lure Melo in town with the cap space left behind by Gasol, imho.
Lakers are tanking because they don't have no alternative choices, otherwise their pride as a 16 timer would've prevented them from going into full tanking mode imho.
BAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!![]()

Not really. There is no one out there - that is available - that is worth paying luxury taxes on. We've seen the Lakers willingness to spend money. It just sucks when they do obtain players who had been healthy their whole careers, once they put on the P&G, they come up lame (i.e. Malone, Nash, Mitch Richmond, etc.). The issue that scares me is Fredhaving daddy's checkbook.

I warned you he was an injury waiting to happen. But you didn't listen.
in all honesty I don't see Fredo being a total failure, but I really don't see him being as good as his dad. First, because his dad was very smart and a self made man, which Fredo is your typical trust fund baby. But also just the reality of the NBA with more teams wanting to compete. I'm sure Lakers will win a le at some point, but 5 championships in 10+ years, I don't see that happening again imo. Tbh, I don't even think Spurs could pull off the same dominance again that we had with TD, and we haven't even had that same dominance since we ushered into the Tony Parker Experience. Imho, as long as Spurs can compete and win a le here and there, that will be gravy.
Fredo got on his ing knees and begged like a dog for Howard.
Rockets paying Asik $5M to stay home (losing any leverage they could have had in a trade). Then y'all owe him $15M for him next year. Talk about dead money.
Edit: make dat a double. Jeremy Lin was given the same deal. $40M dead presidents.![]()

Still less than 90 million sitting in suits on the bench with Fredo writing daddy's checks. That's real dead money![]()
This is true. I never seen the Lakers rebuild like this and never seen LA have to beg. Empires don't last forever.
Oh and Lin ed around and got a triple double tonight.
Dude, you've nary room after last June. You had your 5th NBA World le in the case and had to give it back. Don't even start.
And you chicken ted after the Sweep. You've nary a room.
You've nary room first. You ed up an NBA World le. Don't even think you're gonna sit there and cast us down. Over my dead body, daddy-O.
You didn't show up until after 6. Nary a room Cul.
Heat were the better team. Posters who stuck around were better than you who chicken ted. It happens Cul.
Let him fight his own battles, dj. Asshole.
Doesn't matter. You had the ring in your possession and you ed it up. Ipso facto, you've nary room first.
No they were not. The Spurs were the better team. Y'all just chked
