explain how it's funny that i didn't go further in college when i never intended to do so. also explain how that oh so coveted bachelor's degree was going to help me in the career i am in. if i were to get a bachelor's degree then would it be, "haha you don't have a master's", and then if i had a master's it would be, "haha you're no PhD".

I'm guessing your friends aren't okay with the President of the United States, for example, sending troops to the border to drive fear of immigrants as an election publicity stunt.
If they are okay with that, I might disagree with categorizing them as "good people." Shilling for blatant, divisive dishonesty is not a characteristic of a good person. But people are complicated.
Your assumption was incorrect. You could have also assumed that since I did not quote you, and since I said "you guys" (which is plural), that I was making a general response to all posters in this thread who are "shilling for an authoritarian narcissist."
