More specifically, quick turnaround testing, like the 15 minute they're supposedly buying and producing now.
It's been a consistent criticism for months. What good is doing a gazillion tests a day if it takes 7-10 days for the results, and those people go to work, go out to dinner, see family and friends, etc?

Also, Trump just had the CDC issue guidelines that you don't necessarily need testing if you came into contact with someone you know has COVID. Rescinding those testing guidelines and replacing them with the guidelines we had would be a great start.
Won't be as easy as 2008 or 1932 imo. In both of those instances Republicans actually acknowledged how ed the country was. We live in a new world where a Republican president can run the country into the ground and 90+% of all Republicans will make up an alternative reality and say everything is fine.
By properly funding the places that need so and letting the CDC run as it should is a start.
