I can almost guarantee you Malik won't play with that level of intensity the rest of the season. He was psyched up to play his former team and showed some of his old hustle and moxie, but no way I would want him back at 7 mil. Now, if we can find another guy with similar attributes to Malik in his prime? Great, lets get him..........or maybe White turns into that kind of player, who knows?

Did Elson stop coming off the pine?
I agree. Elson's looked like he could be exactly that to this team. He and Oberto should be tag teaming that role this year.

"he had an amazing game against us last night."

yep, but I'm sure playing against his buddy Tim and the Spurs brought out the best in him, which might not be seen again this season from Malik except for 11 Nov.
I agree, and everyone's praise for him isn't justified (in my opinion) if they want him back after he had a wonderful game after playing a former team that he has great feelings towards. I don't want him back. So what if the Nazr/Rasho experiment didn't work out, such is life. Elson seems to be working out lovely.

I guess reading isn't manditory in this forum. I said a "Rose-like player". Meaning a player that can change games with hustle and energy off the bench. The closest thing the Spurs have to that is Matt Bonner ... and that's not a good thing.
Don't blame me, I wanted to call up Chuck Hayes last season.

...and isn't Elson coming off the bench now?

Good call on that. He really is a workhorse on the glass.

He's single-handedly destroying the Griz as I write this.

    10 points, 11 boards (6 offensive), 2 blocks, 2 assists

malik is not a great player, a great spur, great for fans, but not a great player. a hard worker maybe, poor hands definitely, hustle beyond means ok, but a great player...i don't think so...that said isiah will do something stupid and get somebody a ring this year...
