I figured it out, Linderman is Terence on Entourage.
The writers have said that future seasons will have different story lines with different characters.
He was also in Star Trek Generations, Dr. Soran. Wow, I'm a nerd!

Linderman is Malcom McDowell....he has played villians in past movies...
Now I remember...he was in a TV series on SCI FI...LEXX

Sylar Vs Peter Showdown...who will win and how does it go down? Discuss...
Peter will go invisable, self heal, and tune's in on Sylar's thoughts and assume Sylar's abilities and then break his neck.
Peter is a mimic. Hes been around alot of other people like him. His power will only grow.
Sylar is a "parasite" so the show says. His power is determined by the rate at which he can consume.
A stark advantage goes to the obvious.
But Sylar, as of right now, is much more powerful and learned. Nothing will happen to Peter, but Sylar will escape.
Just in case he doesnt...
Peter owns him with some nuclear meltdown-type move.
Here's how it goes....
Peter starts getting his head cut open, as he does he is screaming and while it happens he heals where it cuts.....
Thats when Syler says "Usually this is the part people scream.."
Peter goes semi-nuclear and burns Sylser then goes invisible when he is released.
Syler listens for his heartbeat and throws him against a wall.
Peter launches a flying dive full speed into Syler but gets stopped midair.
During the fight Mohinder comes loose from the ceeling and crawls his way towards a syringe.
Syler Slams peter against a wall, uses telekenises to throw some bar stools at peter and tries to melt them around him to hold him but peter listens to his thoughts and launches off the wall going invisable at the same time before Syler can o it, meanwhile Mohinder crawls his way to Syler and plunges the Syringe into his calf knocking him out.... then Mohinder passes out.
Mohinder will now be paralized and a ripoff of Professor X But thats cool with me.
I have only seen the first two episodes but have all 18 downloaded and all I have to say is this; "It is the greatest television show since Law and Order." That is a huge compliment coming from me. I usually hate all television shows.
Maybe he HAS to go nuclear to save the world?
I've actually heard that most of the main characters will be around next season, but that there will be more introduced.
I just finished all of the episodes and I think Peter is the key to everything. I see it as a Neo vs. Agent Smith type of fight. I think Ted will go nuclear but Hiro will be able to turn it around.

Even if Peter goes Nuclear... it still doesnt kill him... HE can go back and stop it... or whatever...
He's rediculously powerful...
agreed, and this is key. i'm sure that despite syler's better control over his powers, peter is strong enough to overcome it somehow. peter is the most powerful of them all, imo.
