I didn't see the show, but I can guess.
Did anyone else watch this show tonight?
It looks like a pretty good show and it looks to get even better. I've got most of it understood except for Ali Larter's character, I'm not exactly sure what her power is...any ideas?

My guess is that she can manifest herself as a clone, but not a real person. Like say, a ghost of herself, but with power. That is my guess because she was looking in the mirror afterwards and her "Shadow clone" gave her that wicked smile, then the mirror shattered.
Personally, I want the Japanese guys power. Transport myself to any place I see.

Her power is that she has no remorse (or memory) after killing 2 bad guys....

it was barely entertaining. the limited commercial stuff was nice though. smallville pilot was much, much better. actually, the same guy that directed the smallville pilot is making a pilot for a TERMINATOR tv series - i hope it's better than the blade show!

That was actually WAY better then I thought it was gonna be...very good director...almost like a Drama...but with a SciFi twist...definitely gonna start watching this series...I'd highly recommend it...
I caught the premiere tonight and I was pretty impressed. It'll be interesting to watch the story develop, seems pretty complex.
As I was watching it...I kept thinking...how is this not infringing on X Men copyrights?
She is hot..I believe she is 17 in real life...I knew she would be hot. Hayden Panettiere is a goddess. Albeit an underage one.

I don't know about Ali Larter's character's ability, but in real life she has the ability to control whip cream like Magneto controls metal. Ahh, Varsity Blues...
I was frustrated by the show. Interesting concept wasted with some of the most horrible dialogue I've ever seen. I may give it a few more shots but I hate to get into it because I don't see it lasting a full season.
I think Ali's power is that her reflection is an alternate her... and when hits the fan they "swap" places so she is safe in the mirror while her evil "twin" kicks ass.
notice that the screen went black before she was actually punched by the mobster.

I think thats kind of it. I think she has an alternete personality that just flat out kicks ass and is mean as ing . Kind of a dark side.
