See go to map blast and you see that the palace is off of I-75 the only MAJOR freeway to the palace and also near a lot of MAJOR business and when the pistons games usually start its during rush hour..
rush hour + piston game + snow storm = light palace crowd.. but you wouldnt knwo about that considering your out of the state of michigan.
