Oh great,
Does it have to be "O-face" humor? You try to relax there buddy and don't take offense to a joke about the Spurs being great on a Spurs sight on a message about "pre-pre-season super bowl pics" as anything serious.
You should know new movies have come out since then...
Broncos over Texans --AFC Championship Game 17-10.. Laugh at me if you want
Saints over Redskins -- NFL Championship Game 35-26
Broncos over Saints -- Superbowl 23-13
Good ish![]()
If those stats came true, then the Cowboys would be running the wishbone option offense and could probably use another RB anyway![]()
Was that supposed to be an insult or something? All I said was that your post was terrible, because it made no sense whatsoever. It was just a bunch of mindless crap, spewed into a post.
You should know that Avery Johnson is no longer a Spur as well...
Nah..Think San Francisco's offense last year when Norv was the offensive coordinator. The offense will be about the same. It will do wonders for Julius. He now can run like he did in 2004 w/o the thought of BP always on his ass about his running style. BP tried to turn him into Otis Anderson. It didn't work.He can get to 1500 yards. He got to 1000 last year sharing carries under BP.
There is a good chance that all of those teams except for the Saints wont even be anywhere near the playoffs.
I don't think Jason Garret is going to copy the Turner Offense.
I honestly think he's going into the creative offensive style of Sean Payton. That's why Jones loves him so much. There's going to be alot of misdirection from a two-back set that's going to open the secondary for Owens, Glen and Crayton.
Trust me on that.
^^ Isn't that nearly like Turner's offense though of last year? That opened the field for Frank Gore even if they did have subpar wide receivers. It's not so much as copying. But it emulates it and it will be similar. He obviously will add his own style to it, of course. But he has been tutored and remained close to Garrett ever since he was the Cowboys OC back in the early 90s.
How many times did Turner use a pro-set offense last year?
How many plays were dependent on a two back system?
The offense Garrett will be implementing will have alot of misdirection and option plays.
I'm pretty damn sure of it.
He wants to keep the defense guessing at every moment.
I'm talking about throwing deep on first down and like that.
I got this tidbit from the article.

Also, has Garrett mentioned that he would use that type of offense he will use this season? I haven't keep up with what he was going to do since I'm out of the state and I usually do. I'll do some research on that. There will be some alterations to the '07 offense. Don't be shocked if it looks a little like a Norv Turner offense. The current Chargers coach was Garrett's first offensive coordinator with the Cowboys in 1993, and the two have remained close.
But I remember watching the niners last year, and they did exactly what you are talking about throwing deep on first down if they didn't give it to gore.
But what Garrett will do is open the offense and spread the field alot more than we did last year under Parcells. Glad we won't see anymore of that conservative bull . It will also do wonders for Owens as there will be more plays for him such as reverses and more passes downfield. Hope we use Glenn more on mid-range routes.

Okay, from reading articles, we both are basically right. Garrett will add his own twists to his offense, but it will kind of resemble Turners AND Zampese's offense. Which is a good thing.
The link didn't give me access to the article.
But, I get what you're saying.
A new hybrid offense really does sound like a good thing.
I'm changing my prediction. I now believe the Broncos will win the Super Bowl, and get 24 players into the Pro Bowl, and then win the Pro Bowl.
As soon as China embraces football.
My bad man. I forgot you had to be a member of the zone lol.
here's the actual article.

wanted to Bump my prediction. im not a Pats fan at all, but so far this is holding up well
As I said in the other thread, give the Pats the rings already. No one even comes close to beating them this season. They are unguardable on offense and their D will shut you down.
Every Colts team in the Manning era besides last year Forum.
