If the Colts losing to the Pats by 4 points is getting "handled," I'd hate to know what the Cowboys loss to the Pats is classified as.

Getting handled. The Pats ate our lunch and slapped our mothers. Hopefully the Cowboys having a healthy secondary and healthy D line would make a difference in a rematch, but who knows.

I could make the same excuses for the two Colts losses, but instead I'll blame Manning for turning it over with the game on the line. I could blame him for his six TOs in the Chargers game, but that loss belongs to Dungy and Vinatieri. Despite their mountain of injuries, the Colts are two or three plays away from being 11-0, and with Ugoh, Harrison and Diem coming back next week I'm sure they will start rocking the league again.

Never thought I'd see the day someone wished another team's QB's arm to snap.

And you call the Patriots classless?

And the can of worms officially opens. If you think your opinion, of all people's, is going to make that still small voice inside of me take back what I said, you're wrong. It's no secret that I hate the Patriots. Now it's no secret just how much I hate them.

Try not to lose too much sleep over my lack of sports etiquette. I know I won't.

...some of you are ridiculous. this Patriots team is the best football team i have ever seen, and i fully expect them to go 16-0. so they had one close game that shouldn't have been...big deal, they won...thats all that matters. the steelers and giants aren't going to beat this team. why are some of you such haters? with the exception of BB, this Pats team reminds a lot of the Spurs.

Please elaborate because the only thing these two franchises have in common is winning.

Why do you say this? Do the Pats have any overrated USC players?

    The 1977 Steelers
    The 1985 Bears
    The 1992 and 1993 Cowboys
    The 1989 Niners

All of these teams are better than this version of the 2007 Patriots. They didn't play in the salary cap, free agency, heavily expansion era league like the Patriots do now. What the Pats are doing is impressive. But the best ever? no. And don't bother posting numbers. They are irrelevant. Considering how the game has changed so much to make the offense so much successful and how the rules changed as well.

Eagles gave it a good shot. I wonder how the game would have played out if Mcnabb had played.
The Eagles would have lost by 30.

Colts radio show said all three are probable for next week and that there is no longer any pain in Marvin's knee. And that Marvin has been targeting next week's game for his return for several weeks now.

Ah....very nice! I'm glad Marvin's knee is better. I hadn't heard that. But I'll keep my ears open around work too.

Ryan Diem can keep his ass out if he wants too. That's a couple of false starts I don't need to see every game.

So I asked one of the sports guys that I work with, and he said that Marvin hasn't practiced, nor has he actually consulted with his doctor. Basically, the radio guys are just speculating. It's too soon to know what the Colts will do this weekend.

What kind of turf are they using in Gillette stadium?

The turf I saw last night looked synthetic. If that's the case, maybe the Colts will have a better than average chance against them in January. But losing Freeney hurts.

The only good thing about this game other than the Eagles shutting down Moss when no one else could is that Roosevelt Colvin and Randall Gay were injured. I used to be above wishing injuries on players but I will make an exception for every man on the New England Patriots payroll.

Here's to Tom Brady breaking his arm after he throws his 48th TD.
I think we should thank you because you just reversed karma. Brady won't be hurt.
On the other hand, you should grow up.

I don't know how what I said could be equated to whining, or how the comments I made will enact a reverse karma since thousands of people have probably said the exact same , or at least thought about it. Some probably on this very forum, I just broke the ice first.

Well, Bob Lamey said on the radio that he got that info from Polian, so I assumed I could take that to the bank. But who knows, a lot of people have said Marvin will never be the same again if he comes back, that he won't come back at all, etc. But I put a lot more stock in something that reportedly came from Polian's mouth over anything ESPN or SI have to say about the Marvin situation.

    That's cool..I hope you're right.
I didn't get that info from ESPN or SI though. I work at an Indy tv station, and I asked our sports guy. But that doesn't necessarily mean they have the best information either. Just thought I'd pass it on.

    Rosevelt Colvin on IR.

This is a HUGE blow to an already shaky NE defense.
